In July, I travelled with TOM FORD to Gordes in France for the launch of the brand’s newest unisex fragrance, LAVENDER EXTRÊME. An extremely beautiful scent that I fell in love with from the first encounter, different from everything I had smelled before. The iconic lilac flower is upended, translated from its storied origin in Provence and into a fresh subversion of itself. Different types of lavender are mixed together, developing diverse facets, from an adrenaline-pumping freshness to an amber-like facets and layered with Italian bergamot and citrus. For the base note, the relaxing scent of lavender gets a shot of electricity with a spicy, warm oriental tonka, and benzoin drydown. Extremely sexy, seductive and long-lasting – exactly what TOM FORD stands for.
For the social media campaign, I was honored to be part of this amazing shoot in the lavender fields close to Gordes, wearing this stunning outfit by TOM FORD.
My look: Light jersey mock neck cape dress, leather pumps with padlocks, vintage purple «punk»-style fur bag, silk-chiffon headscarf, and Linda sunglasses, all by Tom Ford, leather and suede waist belt by Balmain.
Housed in an all-silver, sleek bottle, LAVENDER EXTRÊME is the epitome of understated glamour. In Switzerland available now at Jelmoli, Globus Zurich and Globus Geneva for CHF 340.00 (50 ml).
Enjoy more photos below and stay tuned for the make-up look coming up soon.

Greetings from Madrid where I spent the most amazing weekend one week ago! On Saturday the sun was shining and we went on an interesting sightseeing tour through the city visiting the Royal Palace, the Museo del Prado and all the must-see places of the Spanish capital.
My look: Shearling and leather coat by Balmain, kickback trousers by Alexander McQueen, cream white wool sweater by Givenchy, Susanna leather ankle boots by Chloé, fringed checked cashmere scarf by Burberry Prorsum, Linda sunglasses by Tom Ford, necklaces and quilted lambskin mini 2.55 vintage classic flap bag, both by Chanel.
You have heard it a gazillion times from me, but I would like to emphasize it again. If you have enough space to store your pieces, keep them, there will always be a time again. Speaking about my mini 2.55 vintage flap bag by Chanel for example, this size was discontinued. I got mine from my parents when I turned 18 (Thank you for always spoiling me!). The bag is still sold on the internet in pre-owned conditions and in very high demand. Some consignment stores will even put you on a long waiting list.
The name of the 2.55 classic flap bag refers to February 1955; the month and year in which the style was introduced. This mini one is made from lambskin and has a single flap with a double C turnstile lock. A single chain strap can be worn either on your shoulder or in cross body. Talking about vintage… it looks like it just has hit the shelves.

When it comes to fashion, I am always open to try something new and unexpected. I fell in love with the sequin-trimmed boyfriend jeans immediately. They might not show off your shape in perfection, but I like how they leave a little mystery.
My look: Safari leather top, sequin-trimmed boyfriend jeans, classic Paris D’Orsay pumps with bow and metallic-trimmed leather clutch, all by Saint Laurent, black onyx dragonfly ring and snake ring, both by Roberto Cavalli, Linda sunglasses by Tom Ford.

«Your first impression is always a lasting impression.»
As you already know, I tend to keep all my clothes and never clean out my closet. I love to wear most of them after many years again, combine them with something new and feel the excitement of the first time. What I absolutely recommend is to invest your money in a great suit! That is something that lasts longer and will be timeless. Can you imagine that I bought this beautiful pantsuit by Alberta Ferretti in 2002?! An absolute keeper… and a great ensemble for a business meeting at the lake last week… when the weather was much nicer than today.
My look: Pantsuit by Alberta Ferretti, printed silk crepe de chine shirt and Monogramme lipstick printed textured-leather clutch, tulle mini petticoat skirt, Janis pumps with studs, all by Saint Laurent, Tonda 1950 Set Clarity watch by Parmigiani Fleurier and Linda sunglasses by Tom Ford.

The last days in NYC as the new digital influencer for Estée Lauder were absolutely amazing. I had many interesting meetings and enjoyed the beautiful sunshine. Here you see me at a private home at the Upper East Side with the most spectacular view over the city and Central Park. Needless to say, the perfect backdrop to take some photos of my outfit that was daring and conservative at once, a twist that I love.
My look: Feather cape by Balmain, dress with piping by Chanel, metallic and matte-leather pumps and Sac De Jour Nano leather shoulder bag, both by Saint Laurent, diamond ring by Vainard Fine Jewellery, earrings «Tribale» by Dior, Tonda 1950 Set Clarity watch by Parmigiani Fleurier and Linda sunglasses by Tom Ford.

Saturday one week ago, there was Street Parade in Zurich. It is the most attended technoparade in Europe, since the end of Love Parade in 2010. I prefer leaving the streets to the ravers as I find it too crowded but I still enjoy the music very much. Therefore personally speaking the place to be is the Boum-Boum au Lac party in the exclusive garden of the Hotel Baur au Lac.
My look: Giselle bandage halterneck jumpsuit by Hervé Léger, rock leather bracelet by Miu Miu, studded leather bracelet, Candy suede platform sandals and metallic patchwork camera bag, all by Saint Laurent, «Blow in Case of Fashion Emergency» necklace by Chanel, Horsebit blue topaz diamond white gold ring by Gucci Fine Jewellery, Tonda 1950 Set Clarity watch by Parmigiani Fleurier and Linda sunglasses by Tom Ford.
Tonight will be the Rive Gauche Party at the Baur au Lac garden, so stay tuned. More will be coming up shortly from this hot spot.

On the S/S 2016 runways, oversized florals burst into full bloom. Large in scale, the blossoms have been seen in all ways, preferably on wide-leg pants and tops. Here you see me wearing the trend on a business trip in Bali last month. Comfortable and stylish in one.
My look: Jessie poppy-print top and Maude printed crepe de chine wide-leg pants, both by Stella McCartney, Soho mini textured-leather shoulder bag and suede and metallic peep-toe sandals, both by Gucci, T Wire Narrow 18-karat rose gold bracelet by Tiffany & Co,
pearl earrings by Chanel, diamond ring by Cartier, Lady Excalibur watch by Roger Dubuis and Linda sunglasses by Tom Ford.

“I want to become so famous that Damien Hirst’s mother knows me.”
– Jani Leinonen
The Baur au Lac garden is one of my favorite places in the city of Zurich. And at the moment there is an exhibition in the parc that you definitely should not be missing. Two weeks ago, Gigi Kracht, wife of hotel owner Andrea, opened her 14th Art in the Park (photos of the opening will be coming up shortly) that will be going until the 7th of August, 2016. This year, she is presenting the work of one of my favorite artists, Finnish shooting star, Jani Leinonen. The 38-year old plays with logos and symbols of the luxury goods industry in such an ironic way that it makes you think and laugh at once.
Let’s take for example the work “The most terrible things, war genocide and slavery, have resulted not from obedience, but from disobedience”. This outdoor installation reimagines boldly appropriated corporate logos of the globe’s most powerful brands to put emphasize on social injustice and corporate hegemony. I love Jani’s way of expressing himself. He is criticizing society with his colorful and fun art that makes you happy looking at it at the same time.
Jani presented me his book with a personal dedication (Would be a nice tattoo, wouldn’t it?).
Check out these previous posts that I wrote over the last years concerning Jani’s art: Fashion Meets Art (2010), Jani Leinonen and a Fashionable Tombstone (2011), Shoe Liberation Army Takes Over (2012).
My look: Striped blazer by Givenchy, silk-georgette trapeze blouse by Chloé, superskinny mid-rise jeans by Victoria, Victoria Beckham, jacket quilted leather shoulder bag by Moschino, embellished leather mid-heel loafers by Gucci, beaded gold-tone rosary necklace by Dolce & Gabbana and Linda sunglasses by Tom Ford.
Stay tuned for more…

Oversized sweaters worn as dresses add a certain coolness to your look. I couldn’t resist Christopher Kane’s “Lovers’ lace” – entwining bodies in coral and cream lace, that are inspired by life drawing lessons. Worn on the F/W 2015 runway, this oversized style is woven from a luxurious blend of wool and cashmere guaranteed to keep me warm when the weather cools here in Zurich.
My look: Hooded camel-wool wrap coat with belt by Chloé, lace-paneled wool and cashmere-blend sweater dress by Christopher Kane, fringed checked cashmere scarf by Burberry Prorsum, leopard-print Boston tote by Céline, Rockstud leather-trimmed knee boots by Valentino and Linda round-frame acetate sunglasses by Tom Ford.
