On Tuesday, I flew to New York City as the first digital influencer for Estée Lauder Switzerland. During the next days, I will experience and share with you some really amazing moments. I will be meeting with Aerin Lauder and Carolyn Murphy, who has been the face for the American beauty brand since 15 years. I will visit the brand’s archives and be celebrating six decades of limitless luxury as the famous «Re-Nutriv» cream turns 60. In 1956, Estée Lauder introduced the «cream of creams» that marked the first milestone in creating a beauty empire. She was a true visionary and sold the product for $115 at a time when the average price of a moisturizer was $10.

Today, the American beauty brand is as trendsetting as 60 years ago, catering to different needs of women of all age groups. Their newest coup? The absolutely mind-blowing collaboration with Victoria Beckham.

In the beginning of January, a few days after I came back from Qatar, I had the chance to meet the lovely Eduardo Ferreira, International Artistic Director for Bobbi Brown, who was in Zurich to present the newest launches personally. What an honor!

We got together at the Grieder Bar and bonded immediately. He is not only extremely charming, fun and witty, but also highly professional and interesting to talk to.

Being in his element to create makeup looks that every woman will adore, he suggested that he tries out the newest products right away on me. I am sure that you can imagine the looks I got from the other guests. Very funny!

Bobbi Brown’s Long-Wear Cream Shadow Sticks are my new best friends after Eduardo explained me how to use them. I have to admit that I had always found the application of this kind of stick pretty difficult but their texture is amazing.

After conquering the world of fashion, fragrance and film, Tom Ford has brought his impeccable vision to the world of beauty. His first cosmetics collection features a complete range of colour and skin treatments.

It all started last September in New York with a lipstick… my first beauty product by Tom Ford was the Lip Color 07 Pink Dusk, a lovely soft pink shade that goes with everything. The texture is truly amazing, leaving your lips moisturized while providing them with rich colour.

The next time I was back in the States, I couldn’t resist to get more. I truly recommend the eyeshadow palettes. The colours stay on the whole day and you can play with the effects as the textures can be built up, from soft to bold. The glittering shades can be tapped over the lid for an overall glamorous look, perfect for New Year’s Eve.
