A zipped clutch with a minimal and modern twist, this is the new T pouch by Loewe that makes the big difference as all eyes are on the fun slogan «See u later». Together with some of my other favorite things at the moment I had a lot of fun exploring the gadgets Villa Stéphanie in Baden-Baden offers to their guests.

My look: Knit coat with golden flip-lock closures by Altuzarra, bow-embellished cotton Oxford and poplin shirt by Jacquemus, Rockabilly cropped jeans by Balenciaga, T printed textured-leather pouch by Loewe, Amstel fur clogs and crystal-embellished sunglasses, both by Gucci.

Mary Katrantzou has referenced her heritage for the first time for her S/S 2017 collection and I definitely couldn’t resist this «Hemera» dress which is printed with Grecian gods and has classic Cretan pottery patterns embroidered onto the shoulder straps. I teamed mine with a statement necklace and a striped cardigan on vacation in France.

So let me explain you a little further what LOEWE’s special collaboration is all about. Paula’s Ibiza is the iconic boutique and cultural phenomenon of the 1980s and 90s whose indelible legacy lives on through the dedicated work and unbound artistry of its founders.

The new collaboration was conceived by LOEWE creative director Jonathan W. Anderson, who first encountered Paula’s on childhood trips to the Balearic island. Exclusively for the special S/S 2017 line, Armin Heinemann, Paula’s German-born co-founder, provided a selection of original prints from the archive as well as garment designs adapted from Paula’s best-selling pieces. LOEWE‘s ateliers translated these elements into a timely womenswear capsule, combining the essential qualities behind Paula’s success of ”harmony, exuberance and freedom” with LOEWE‘s own core values such as ”functionality, modernity, and superior craftsmanship.”

I always like to explore new designers. One that has caught my eye is Esteban Cortazar who is inspired by his formative years in Miami’s South Beach in the ‘90s, as well as his time working alongside couture seamstresses as Emanuel Ungaro’s Creative Director. “It is a very personal vision; one that empowers women by making them feel beautiful,” he says of his collections.
