My Look: All Good Baby

Welcome to EL&N London’s most Instagrammable hot spot. Everything here is irresistibly chic, pink perfection with flower walls, pink interiors and alternative lattes taking social media by storm.

EL&N stands for Eat, Live and Nourish. I came across this place by coincidence when I was looking for a location to shoot. I couldn’t have worn a better outfit fitting the interior, don’t you think?
I went for a Turkish Delight Hot Chocolate, a rose flavored white hot chocolate covered with whipped cream, served with two Turkish delights, that was very yummy.

My look: Concert checked recycled woven blazericon, matching Concert cropped checked recycled woven flared pantsicon, Concert jacquard-knit merino wool, cotton and cashmere-blend tankicon, Concert striped silk-twill shirt, allicon by Zimmermann, Hippipump crystal appliqué suede ballet flats by Christian Louboutinicon, My LV chain pilot sunglasses by Louis Vuitton, and flap bag with top handle in iridescent grained calfskin and gradient lacquered metal, all by CHANEL.

My Look: Stay Cozy

Stay cozy – something I love to do during my stays at Gstaad Palace where I took these photos by myself with the timer of the iPhone on the balcony of my hotel suite. Sometimes when the sun comes out, I put on a hat with a wide brim for the ultimate UV protection besides sunscreen and enjoy reading and working outside. The hat elevates the look immediately from cozy to cool!

My look: Abstract intarsia knit sweater, and matching intarsia balloon pants, both by LoeweAlcove mini textured-leather toteicon by Valentino, canvas-jacquard bucket hat by Gucciicon, My Monogram square sunglasses in tortoiseshell by Louis Vuitton, and FF-logo shearling slippers by Fendi.

A highlight of the new collection, the LV Volt Upside Down Play bracelet blends the beauty of contemporary design with the impact of a joyful, rhythmic pattern. The bracelet’s interchangeable cord celebrates renewed connections with two graphic clasps.

Louis Vuitton – LV Runner Tatic

Louis Vuitton launches a new iconic trainer, with the first model offered exclusively in Miami, in the very first Men’s store in the United States. The LV Runner Tatic is a new addition to the iconic family of Louis Vuitton trainers. Inspired by the running spirit and smooth curves of the 90s, this shoe is the most flexible, technical and agile in the collection. Its design boasts many areas of expertise. The wave-shaped sole is injected with foam, making it cushioning and resilient to support every rebound, every quest for speed.

It’s meticulously constructed from heatsealed mesh and suede calf-leather, using the minimum amount of stitching necessary. The shoe features finely detailed, reflective Monogram flowers, adding further vibrancy. A new iconic statement piece with a dynamic, fresh appeal, the LV Runner Tatic complements every look in the S/S 2022 collection.

A green model will be available exclusively in Miami, from 29th November, in the first Louis Vuitton store in the United States dedicated entirely to men’s collections. This new location, situated in the Design District, will be the second Louis Vuitton Men’s store in the world, after the first opened in Shibuya, Tokyo, last year.

In January, this ultra-collector’s piece will be joined by five equally desirable versions, featuring contrasting colours (blue, mocha, white…) or a monochrome bias (black). These five alternative colourways incorporate the same materials, as well as a Louis Vuitton label on the tongue. They also sport a new dynamic, contrasting LV signature embroidered on the side.

Available in store starting January 20th.

Louis Vuitton Monogram Jacquard Denim

Louis Vuitton revisits its iconic bags in Monogram Jacquard Denim.
A staple of every woman’s wardrobe, denim is a firm favourite in Louis Vuitton’s collections, especially when refreshed with the Monogram motif. This season, the timeless pattern adorns a chic and easy-to-wear leather goods collection.

From the Onthego tote bag to the Speedy, Loop and Dauphine models, Louis Vuitton’s iconic designs now come in Monogram Jacquard Denim. Embellished with Monogram, the washed denim look is achieved through a jacquard weaving technique exclusively developed for this collection.
As well as perfectly imitating the appearance of denim, this innovative method makes the material strong yet supple, and ensures that the colours and patterns won’t fade over time.

I love the Dauphine bag in Monogram Jacquard Denim.

With its top stitched leather trim, each model is as beautiful on the inside as it is on the outside. The lining’s fabric appears in negative, giving the impression that it is the reverse of the bag’s exterior design. The collection is available from now.

Cute little Nano Speedy in pink Monogram Jacquard Denim.

With the bags and small leather goods available in essential navy, three charming models will also boast a pink colour way: the Nano Speedy, Zippy wallet and Micro Pochette Accessoires. Five iconic models will be offered exclusively in China: Petit Noe, Square Bag, Dauphine Mini, Petite Malle and Nano Speedy.

Will undust my Mini Pleaty Monogram Denim bag from the 2000s.

If you are like me a longtime Louis Vuitton fan, you will remember the House’s iconic Denim Monogram collection from the mid-2000s. I am so happy that I have kept everything, now this jacquard feels incredibly fresh and modern again.

My Look: The Cube

Innovation and elegance are at the heart of Max Mara‘s utilitarian line, «The Cube». Designed in a languid robe silhouette that pulls in with drawstrings, this belted jacket is cut from waterproof shell padded with down that’s lightweight and plush. It comes with a compact shell bag for storage. Combined with those fun accessories by Louis Vuitton, it is the perfect look for my holidays at the Gstaad Palace.

My look: The Cube hooded quilted shell down jacketicon by Max Mara, exaggerated-shoulder wool-blend crepe dress by Valentino, leather belt with golden buckle by Alexander McQueenicon, Minkgram shadow scarfTeddy chapkalaska hat, Teddy muff, and pillow boots, all by Louis Vuitton.

Rest in Peace Virgil Abloh

Virgil Abloh, the acclaimed artistic director of Louis Vuitton’s menswear collection and founder and CEO of Off-White, the label he founded in 2012, died of cancer on Sunday, according to a post from his verified Instagram account. He was only 41.

«We are devastated to announce the passing of our beloved Virgil Abloh, a fiercely devoted father, husband, son, brother, and friend. He is survived by his loving wife Shannon Abloh, his children Lowe Abloh and Grey Abloh, his sister Edwina Abloh, his parents Nee and Eunice Abloh, and numerous dear friends and colleagues,» the post read. «For over two years, Virgil valiantly battled a rare, aggressive form of cancer, cardiac angiosarcoma. He chose to endure his battle privately since his diagnosis in 2019, undergoing numerous challenging treatments, all while helming several significant institutions that span fashion, art, and culture

A trained architect, Abloh, who also worked in Chicago street fashion, entered the world of international fashion with an internship at Fendi in 2009, alongside American rapper Kanye West. The two then began an artistic collaboration that would launch Abloh’s career into founding Off-White. The first African-American to be artistic director at a French luxury fashion house, Abloh was named by Time magazine as one of the 100 most influential people in the world in 2018. Abloh’s design aesthetic which bridged streetwear and luxury clothing was described as transformative by the The New York Times. According to The Wall Street Journal, he reached a level of global fame unusual for a designer.

His death has shocked the world of fashion and many industry leaders pay tribute to the late designer who leaves a big impact on the way we dress behind.

Rest in Peace, Virgil Abloh!
