Natalie Massenet, founder of Net-à-porter, looked so über-stylish at London’s V&A museum for the evening with Christian Louboutin that I had to share it with you.
Take inspiration from her amazing look with a printed top, statement heels and a standout skirt for outstanding evening chic.
Her look: Feather and sequin-embellished silk skirt by Matthew Williamson, printed silk-satin top by Theyskens’ Theory and Wales python lace-up pumps by Christian Louboutin.

In Venice, we stayed at the Palazzina Grassi. A design hotel, situated on the Grand Canal, with an atmosphere full of charm and vitality, steeped in history, where you can experience the melancholy grandeur of Venice like true Venetians. Privacy, flexibility, luxury and elegance are the fundamental elements of this exclusive property, designed by Philippe Starck.
The 21 rooms and six suite apartments are characterized by a marriage of contemporary and romantic design, highlighted by unique furnishings, glass works by the French artist Aristide Najean and sophisticated collector’s items, with some rooms offering glimpses of the lagoon landscape.
Adorned with many mirrors, the rooms appear much bigger than they are.
My look for the first night in Venice: Dress with tropical print and matching clutch by Matthew Williamson, suede pumps by Yves Saint Laurent, ring by Dior Haute Joaillerie and watch by Roger Dubuis.
Tropical and hawaiian prints are a huge trend for Cruise 2012 and can be found at Stella McCartney, Marc by Marc Jacobs and Givenchy among others.

My look yesterday was inspired by the current python trend. This yellow and green python coat by Prada was a special order for me a few years ago. Thank God that I am keeping all my things.
Python coat by Prada, dress and belt by Matthew Williamson, shoes by Yves Saint Laurent, earrings by Louis Vuitton and bag by Tom Ford.
What a surprise! I ran into Michele Venitucci on the streets in Milan. Remember him? The Italian actor is like me one of the advertising faces for the Closed F/W 2011 campaign.

Matthew Williamson has announced his collaboration with Ladurée Paris on a limited edition macarons box. The British designer has transformed the traditional Ladurée box using an iconic Matthew Williamson butterfly wing print repeated in kaleidoscopic layers. These ornate boxes of macarons will be exclusively available at London Ladurée retailers first from the start of London Fashion Week: 16th September and then available worldwide from the start of Paris Fashion Week: 26th September for a limited period only.
I love both Matthew Williamson and Ladurée, this is one of those rare fashion-meets-food moments. I might just have to go one size up after all those yummy macarons…

Yesterday, I flew to London to attend two amazing parties. The first event was a tropical summer night hosted by Matthew Williamson and Chantal Kerzner.

Matthew with me
My outfit: Sequined peacock feather skirt, clutch and necklace by Matthew Williamson, blouse by Alexander McQueen, shoes by Gucci, bracelet by Louis Vuitton.
Matthew’s Mayfair store was the perfect location with all its rainforest-like decoration and beautiful wall coverings to celebrate his Escape collection which is also available at One&Only high-end resort shops.
Chantal’s dad, Sol Kerzner, a hotel magnate, launched One&Only in 2002 with seven properties in The Bahamas, Mexico, Mauritius, The Maledives, South Africa and Dubai. Chantal, head fashion buyer for the boutiques, brings an eclectic mix of high fashion and cutting-edge labels to the holiday destinations.
Enjoy Matthew’s beautiful vacation must-haves, available also through matthewwilliamson.com.
Stay tuned for the next amazing party…
Bon Voyage!

Ralph Lauren’s Collection runway S/S 2011 line is all about the Wild West! Fringes, bull’s heads, suede leather, everything you need to have to become lumberjack’s best friend or the fashionista of the prairie.
There is especially one look that I love. This plaid shirt combined with the ultra luxurious skirt. The unusual combination makes so special. It has this certain twist I am always recommending. The accessories work the same way. A casual crossbody bag worn with delicate silver sandals.
As the original embellished Ralph Lauren Collection Theresa skirt from the runway is a gem and has its price (Its beading is done in Lyon.), I suggest this gorgeous fringed Matthew Williamson skirt.
Anyway, this is an inspiration that you will certainly find in your own closet. Have fun exploring!
Just skip the spores!
