Let me introduce you to Max Mara The Cube. Born in 2008, it is an integrated system of outerwear and accessories, a collection of quilted coats and jackets neatly packaged into cubed carry-cases for on-the-go women. This celebrated range shows Max Mara’s commitment to innovation, that sets it apart from anything else in the fashion industry, by combining unparalleled warmth-to-weight functionality and adaptable styling.
The Max Mara The Cube’s design is so innovative that it has been «boxed» into the display cases at the Berlin State Museums and New York’s FIT, as a «cult object» in the «Fashion and Technology» exhibitions.
This season, Max Mara takes The Cube collection to the next level. The Italian fashion house is synonymous with camel hair. The legendary coats have been crafted from this sustainable fiber that is collected from the camel as it naturally sheds. The excess camelhair fabric of the Max Mara coats is upcycled to create a new coat with a sustainable padding, the Cameluxe, an ultra-fine material used as insulation for a new generation of The Cube – the integrated system of outerwear and accessories that has been around the «block» a few times.
Luxury, high-performance outerwear – and its neat travel bag – modern fashion, cubed. I am loving it and will show you soon how I am combining it.

New Year is the time to start a new chapter of life. Personally speaking, every day that you walk, you add valuable time onto your life. I enjoyed the fresh morning air on the first day of 2021 in Gstaad, getting a clear mind and the calories of last night burnt, all snuggled up in my cozy teddy coat and sweater.
My look: Teddy Bear Icon camel hair and silk-blend coat by Max Mara, sequin-embellished Polo bear jumper by Polo Ralph Lauren, Luck Lady stola by Louis Vuitton, silk satin-trimmed georgette shorts by Tom Ford, Trekkgirl snow boots by Valentino, Cassandre small suede shoulder bag by Saint Laurent, and bow-detailed embellished velvet headband by Philip Treacy.
Wishing you 12 months of success, 52 weeks of laughter, 365 days of fun, 8,760 hours of joy, 525,600 minutes of good luck, and 31,536,000 seconds of happiness.
Happy New Year!

Founded in the city of Reggio Emilia in 1951, Max Mara represents the «epitome of Italian quality and craftsmanship.» The brand is adored for its coats and modern, sophisticated approach to wardrobe classics that transcend seasons and trends. Beautiful fabrics define each collection.
My personal hero piece: Teddy Bear Icon camel hair and silk-blend coat by Max Mara
An ode to extravagance in both form and fabric, the Teddy Bear coat shot to icon status on its debut in 2013. An «It Coat» from conception, the cocoon-like oversized cut and plush faux fur of camel hair on silk make it a must-have for women worldwide; Heidi Klum, Karlie Kloss and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley a among them.
Julia Roberts’ favorite: Teddy Bear Icon Short alpaca, wool and silk-blend coat by Max Mara

Teddy coats can be seen everywhere, but I do love an original. The Max Mara teddy coat is a true classic, an iconic investment piece. Try it on and you will be instantly transported back to your bed. They are the coolest, coziest and warmest outerwear you can dream of. You won’t want to take them off and let’s face it, they look so damn good you don’t even need to worry about what’s underneath them.

Candy colors I love – we look cute together. Madame de Pompadour and Marie Antoinette would surely agree with me as they are best known for favoring hues such as baby blue and pale pink in particular. Those soft and sweet feminine shades represent a dramatic break with the dark and moody colors often favored in wintertime, which has long given pastels a strong affiliation with the spring and summer months. For me at the moment, they represent a new beginning and the association with holidays and escapism after those quarantine days.
My look: Stagno coat in light blue by Max Mara, single-breasted floral-lace jacket, partial-lined flared lace trousers, and crystal-embellished sunglasses, all by Gucci, white knitted polo shirt by CHANEL, Love 100 pumps by Jimmy Choo, crystal-embellished leather phone case by Prada, GG Running 18-karat white gold diamond ring and GG Running 18-karat white gold diamond double ring, both by Gucci Fine Jewellery.
Follow my rule: «Better wear candy than eat it… !»

Summer, like every year, just passed too fast. But what is more beautiful than to wrap yourself in warm coats on cold days? Remember the insanely popular teddy coats of your childhood? They are back and are all you’ll want to wear this winter.
Whether you want an oversize style – reminiscent of the ’70s – a cropped big shoulder version – reminiscent of the ’80s – or a teddy coat in a color that’s not exactly subtle, there’s bound to be one that you love. Shop my favorites for F/W 2019 below, just by clicking on the highlighted text:

Capes appeared on the fashion radar last year in full force, when an array of designers put their high-fashion spin on this classic cover-up. Personally speaking, I have been a fan of capes since forever because they are the perfect pieces to wear over voluminous shoulders, big sleeves or embellishments. The trend is thankfully still going strong and giving us good incentive to go hands-free when we wrap up this season. My advice, opt for a statement piece that will make heads turn. It can be inspired by the current ’70s bourgeoisie trend, come with a military vibe, be vibrant or knitted. Here are my favorite ones available with the power to elevate even the plainest of outfits.
