Don’t want to go the whole Halloween costume hog? To be honest, I hate real costumes, it is a waste of money for me. I am not in the mood of applying fake blood and spending five hours getting all costume-ready. I always try to create something out of my closet. Pieces that are fun, honor the ocassion and can be worn all year around. So if you are like me, don’t panic about Halloween, these pieces are all you need… perfect for the lazy girl in all of us!

Last Wednesday, I was invited to the opening of FRED SEGAL at GLOBUS in Zurich. The iconic store, founded in 1961 on Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles (click here for a previous post about shopping in the City of Angels), that became the heart of L.A. pop culture celebrated its debut in Switzerland and Europe. Now the famous mix of fashion, design, lifestyle and art is available at Lintheschergasse 7 and online. No need to fly to the States or Japan anymore. Let yourself be inspired and check out the young and contemporary selection from designers like CLUT GAIA, EACH x OTHER, BAN.DO, TATA HARPER or ROCHAS.
My look: Leopard-print jumpsuit with peplum detail by Stella McCartney, Ark small acrylic clutch by Cult Gaia, patent-leather pumps by Miu Miu, and tasseled clip-on earrings by Oscar de la Renta, rose diamond necklace and rose diamond ring, both by Piaget, cuff by Chanel, and «So Real» sunglasses by Dior.

«After women, flowers are the most lovely thing God has given the world.»
– Christian Dior
Bouquets of flowers are always a special and thoughtful gift. Now you can take the message «Say it with Flowers» to the next level and wrap yourself in this beautiful dress which is patterned with coated red blooms and the iconic slogan. The print is inspired by flower wrappers you’d come across in your local bodega. Isn’t it so cute? Combined with some leopard heels which are trending this upcoming season it is the perfect way to transition into fall.
My look: Waiting For Godet belted coated cotton-blend poplin maxi dress by Rosie Assoulin, white Duffle 6 bag by Saint Laurent, leopard-print calf hair sandals by Miu Miu, bear necklace and banana leaf print sunglasses, both by Dolce & Gabbana, Tonda Métropolitaine watch by Parmigiani Fleurier and rose diamond ring by Piaget.

Yesterday evening, I attended the Zoofäscht 2018 – one of the highlights of Zurich’s social calendar. The black tie event takes place every second year and collects money to support the Zurich Zoo. This time, CHF 500.000 were raised for the new «Lewa Savannah» that will host giraffes, zebras, rhinos and ostriches. After 60 years, the giraffes can finally return to Zurich.
My look: White mink shrug by Prada, Zhenya cutout metallic bandage gown by Hervé Léger, printed metallic leather box clutch by Dolce & Gabbana, Bianca metallic elaphe sandals by Saint Laurent, crystal and pearl-embellished drop earrings by Miu Miu, Tonda 1950 Clarity watch by Parmigiani Fleurier, diamond bracelet and ring, both by Vainard Fine Jewellery.

Before leaving on vacation and working on a fast pace, I wore this fun onesie which is part of the raceway-themed Miu Miu Cruise 2018 collection to a meeting in Zurich. I adore it because on life’s fashion track, a girl likes to sparkle, even when dressing down.
My look: Patch-embroidered jumpsuit with racer girl print by Miu Miu, pink leather belt by Saint Laurent, Cloudbust logo-embossed rubber and leather-trimmed mesh sneakers by Prada, Birkin shoulder bag in Swift leather by Hermès, «So Real» sunglasses and hoop earrings, both by Dior, Tonda 1950 clarity watch by Parmigiani Fleurier.

For MIU MIU’s F/W 2018 ready-to-wear show staged in Paris in March, the elegant halls of the Perret building were hung with generic poster-size sheets of white paper, each bearing
a highly distinctive, large-scale, monochrome illustration of a female face or body interlaced with a letterform.
Ambiance at the MIU MIU F/W 2018 show
This MIU MIU «alphabet» – all 26 letters of the alphabet appeared – was created for the occasion by M/M Paris in collaboration with Miuccia Prada.
A «Miu Miu Types» capsule collection of white poplin shirts, cotton hoodies and track pants will be patched with one, two or three letters , all drawing on the ‘MIU’ of the MIU MIU name.
Classic white cotton T-shirts, meanwhile, will be emblazoned with ‘MIU MIU’ spelt out in full in this idiosyncratic and characteristically playful style.
Available for example in MIU MIU’s new boutique on the Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré in Paris.
From the end of July 2018, in select MIU MIU stores, clients will be offered the opportunity to personalize a simple white shirt and T-shirt with a single letter of their choosing. In a series of exclusive three-day events visitors will be asked to pick their letter which, will be applied to a garment on the spot or will be sent out for customization and then shipped to their desired destination upon completion.
In this way a bold and beautiful new language for Miu Miu is brought to life.

The coolest accessory for this summer? This time, I’m not talking about my Côte d’Azur inspired bag and shoes… I’m talking about my new pool floats! It’s been a few years now that these funny inflatables became the hypest pieces to show on Instagram. Pink flamingos have long ruled the scene, but now it is time for some angel wings action!
My look: Off-the-shoulder cotton-poplin top by Stella McCartney, lace-trimmed striped seersucker maxi skirt by Jonathan Simkhai, printed halterneck bikini by Dolce & Gabbana, woven basket bag «Cannes» edition, frayed «St. Tropez» embroidered straw sunhat, and suede platform sandals, all by Miu Miu, T Wire Narrow 18-karat rose gold cuff and T Smile 18-karat rose gold diamond bracelet, both by Tiffany & Co., and Amulette necklace by Cartier.
