Until Easter Monday, you can enjoy in Zurich those rose filled fountains, an initiative of the city’s Altstadtkirchen. Originally presented for the first time last year, when the pandemic was in full swing, it is a message of hope with the slogan «without thorns there is no rose». This year, with the war in Ukraine taking place, we need a message of hope more than ever.

For me, dressing up during those sad times, always gives me hope and joy. I am a huge fan of Zimmermann, the designs are feminine, comfortable and romantic.

Happy Monday to all of you! Being in quarantine made me realize once more to be grateful for every day when you wake up healthy, for every moment you can spend with someone you love. Upgrade your chic can be so easy, just add the right accessory and a black simple dress transforms into something even more glamourous. Here I added a multi-strand pearl body chain necklace to a classic gown that you had seen me wearing before (for the previous post click here please) for an unexpected touch.

I sported this look to a MONTBLANC event that was held under the red-lit dome of the iconic Rainbow Room inside Rockefeller Center. I had a great time while looking out at the spectacular views of New York – a city that is said to have been built on a pioneering spirit, just like MONTBLANC was over 110 years ago. The lavish party saw brand ambassador Hugh Jackman and other famous celebrities making an appearance. Enjoy my photos of the night.

Last week, I flew for two days to Hamburg as guest of Steinway & Sons. An amazing experience I will soon tell you more about. Here you see me leaving the Gastwerk hotel for the gala dinner on Tuesday night. I am wearing my new must-haves pieces by Gabriela Hearst (for a previous post click here please) along with an iconic trench coat embellished with a cartoon and doodle print from the house’s latest S/S 2018 runway collection. The last 48 hours I spent in beautiful and hot Florence for an event with Montblanc that I will tell you more about soon. At the moment the city is filled with fashionable people as it is Pitti Uomo: the most important international event for menswear and men accessories collections.

One of my favorite quotes says «a smile is the prettiest thing you can wear». I think it is so true. You can wear the most amazing clothes but with no positive attitude, they will look only half as beautiful. Here you see me having a lot of fun shooting the social media campaign for Montblanc‘s «Urban Spirit» line.

My look: Dark blue lace dress, studded bag, velvet mohawk pumps, thin black and gold belt, matching choker (all from previous collections) and new lace-up denim bustier belt, all by Prada, diamond ring by Vainard Fine Jewellery.

In 2012, my relationship as MONTBLANC ambassador started with the launch of my very own ink Sandra Berry, a fuchsia hue, that was limited to 100 pieces.

Now, in 2016, I was honored to be part of their new social media campaign that focuses on the Urban Spirit collection, a brand new leather line defined by its innovative functionality – the ultimate companion for the independent traveller’s daily needs.

Being featured on Montblanc’s Facebook page along with brand ambassador Hugh Jackman, how cool is this?!

For the campaign I had to answer some questions about myself and the city of Zurich:

Favorite place in your city and why ?
I love the area around the Stadthausquai and the Münsterbrücke as it makes me feel like being in Paris. It shows the beauty of Zurich in perfection.

What does Urban Spirit in your city inspires you?
The urban spirit of Zurich is very cosmopolitan, combining Swiss traditions with cultural influences from all over the world. It is a melting pot that inspires me every day just by hearing different languages. Zurich is a metropole and a small little village at the same time, a place where you can do business and feel like being on holidays with its beautiful mountains and stunning lake.

Two weeks ago, I flew to New York for the 110th anniversary celebration of Montblanc. It was freezing cold when I landed. I stayed at the PIERRE hotel on the Upper East Side, a perfect location, very close to the Central Park, where those photos were taken.

My look: Wool toggle coat by Gucci, key embroidered cardigan, matching sweater and scarf, all by Dolce & Gabbana, Maria high-rise skinny jeans by J Brand, biker boots by Miu Miu, The Falabella medium faux brushed-leather shoulder bag by Stella McCartney and sunglasses by Chanel.

Now, two weeks later I am back in the Big Apple for the opening party of Hublot‘s gigantic Fifth Avenue store. The sun is shining and it feels like summer. I am staying again at the PIERRE hotel and enjoy a spectacular view over the city.

This Monday, during the Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie (SIHH), I had the pleasure to join Montblanc for its 110th anniversary celebration at the Hotel des Eaux-Vives. The elegant space overlooking Lac Leman and the Swiss Jura was transformed for one night only into the sumptuous universe of ocean liners, reminiscent of the Atlantic crossings that inspired Montblanc’s founders, and now the theme of the new collection of Montblanc 4810 timepieces.

Brand ambassadors Hugh Jackman, Charlotte Casiraghi, Guey Lun Mei and Montblanc CEO Jérôme Lambert were joined by friends of the brand including actor and director Pierre Niney, design icon Marc Newson, actress Macarena Gomez and director and singer Aldo Comas for a VIP cocktail party and an intimate dinner.

Surrounded by glowing lanterns, elegant Art Nouveau and Art Deco furnishings as well as models of great ships, we were immersed in the glamour and wonder of the great crossings, enjoying a dinner menu evoking the lavish dishes that were once served aboard the magnificent ships that voyaged between Europe and America.

Today and running through the week, the Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie (SIHH) has opened its doors. Only invited journalists and retailers from around the world are able to visit this most exclusive watch fair in Geneva at the Palexpo convention center. Renowned watch brands, such as IWC Schaffhausen, Audemars Piguet, Piaget, Montblanc, Cartier, Vacheron Constantin just to name a few display their newest timepieces. As all of these houses have in general famous ambassadors, you will most likely run in many celebrities at the exhibition. In the evening, exclusive events take place. One that is definitely not to miss is IWC Schaffhausen’s gala night which always takes place on Tuesday evening. Enjoy some of my impressions of last year and stay tuned for the new ones coming up soon!

As SIHH is all about watches, I would like to show you two of my favorite models I spotted last year. First the Big Bang Broderie by Hublot. Sized at 41mm, these beautiful watches come in three styles (two are shown in the picture). All are limited to 200 pieces, each style.

And second, Cartier‘s Rêve de Panthère watch. In this spectacular creation, Cartier’s panther emblem enters the decoration – at once diurnal and nocturnal – of a day/night movement that belongs to the great tradition of the Maison’s complications. Like by magic, The background sky changes from starry night to shining sun for an extraordinary interpretation of time measurement.
