While we are indulging in the newest spring trends, the designers are already showing pre-fall 2014. And one has absolutely caught my eye: MOSCHINO. With Jeremy Scott being now being at the helmet of the brand (he was an intern once), there is a creative director, who knows how to live up to the humorous take the brand is famous for.

I am convinced that founder Franco Moschino, who died in 1994, would have loved those “jacket bags” and “biker backpacks“. OMG! To die for!

Everything that Scott showed has been “molto italiano“. I just love it! And you see, I told you, you shouldn’t have thrown out your Moschino logo belt and bag. I kept mine and here I go!

Coco Chanel once said: “Luxury must ne comfortable, otherwise it is not luxury…”. Wishful thinking and not always true – unfortunately.

Fashion weeks are approaching and I start slowly getting myself organized for some stylish but comfortable outfits in which I can run around the whole day and look good at the same time.

Here you see today’s shopping obsession: Tiger-intarsia knitted sweater by Kenzo, stretch-leather skinny pants by The Row, Emile textured-leather tote by Alexander Wang (love its rose gold-finished design) and black leather ankle boot with metal chain by Givenchy (one of the hottest shoes of the season).

My notes and my iPhone should look stylish as well with the runway textured-leather notebook by Smythson and the chain-embellished cover by Moschino.

I will finish off the look with some statement nails and vibrant lips: Giddy Kipper nail polish by Butter London and Persistence matte lip color by Kevin Aucoin.

The combination of black and white is shaping up to be one of S/S 2013‘s hottest trends, namely in the form of stripes. Marc Jacobs, Dolce & Gabbana and Moschino showed one of the most stunning two-tone takeovers. 2013 is starting with a fashionable comeback of previous season’s must-haves of which some could be truly named vintage pieces. Another proof for my closet theory, keep everything, there will be a time to wear it again. So I am very happy to have all those pieces still in my wardrobe…
