One dress – two ways. I am so in love with my tiger print dress by Mulberry from the F/W 2012 collection, a versatile piece that works for chic as well as for casual occasions. Personally speaking, I think that Emma Hill, Creative Director of Mulberry, has brought the British label to an amazing level of style. I have become quite a fan of her designs. Awakening in a dream, Mulberry has released its new seasonal campaign, shot by my favourite photographer Tim Walker, starring model Meghan Collison, directed by Ronnie Cooke Newhouse and inspired by the ethereal colour palette of Emma Hill’s S/S 2013 collection.

The campaign features key looks from the new collection, showcasing beautiful, reimagined English tailoring, coats and capes layered over dresses and fresh interpretations of print design, classic outerwear and leatherwork.

The new multi-functional Willow Tote (see photo above in biscuit), first launched on the S/S 2013 catwalk, is a focal point of three of the images, a beautiful yet common-sense structured bag with elegant clean lines and timeless appeal.

The Cecily (see above) and Cecily Flower Tote (see second photo from top) are also featured, as well as Mulberry’s icon Bayswater, pictured in sumptuous ostrich (see first photo from top).

Be one of the first ones to sport the new Cecily snake-effect leather shoulder bag.

I am completely in love with this kind of lunar landscape below the sea created for this campaign. Personally speaking, Emma Hill gets better and better. Since a few seasons, I have become a true Mulberry addict.

A Forest fairytale, Mulberry launches its F/W 2012 campaign, shot by renowned British photographer Tim Walker in an English forest, with beautiful, evocative images that play on the romance and darkness of children’s fairytales.

The campaign features two giant furry, forest creatures and the gorgeous Lindsey Wixson, in her third campaign for the English luxury brand. Wearing key looks from the F/W 2012 collection, silhouettes are luxuriously layered, textures rich and contrasting and the pieces accessorised with Mulberry’s latest bag icons Del Rey, Maisie and the new embellished Alexa; Zig Zag Bag.

The campaign was inspired by Creative Director Emma Hill’s visions of explorers, dark fairytales and fantasy travels. I find the campaign absolutely awesome. Tim Walker is the best photographer to play with the idea of fairytales. He comes up with the right mix of darkness and romance.

A forest fairytale brought to life. As Tim said: “Ever since I was a little boy, I always hoped to see a monster in the woods. Now, we all get to.” I am on my way to Yosemite National Park, I hope that I won’t see one.

Finally, Switzerland has a Mulberry store. Located in Zurich’s luxury shopping district, the new shop has a selling surface of 150 square meters on two floors, with a wonderful selection of accessories, shoes and womenswear from the English luxury brand.

Frieze Art Fair is renowned for cutting edge art and a fashion-forward crowd. Established in London in 2003 by the infinitely stylish Matthew Slotover and his co-director Amanda Sharp, it has become one of the art world’s hottest tickets.

This month, London’s coolest art fair hits Manhattan for the first time with the launch of Frieze New York. The four-day event (May 4-7) will see over 1000 of the world’s leading artists gather alongside curators, gallerists and collectors all set against a cool waterside backdrop and with a hip lineup of pop-up restaurants, parties and people to spot. And fashion trendsetters such as Net-à-porter and Mulberry join forces with the art world:

On Friday, May 4 Mulberry hosted an intimate dinner in celebration of the Frieze Art Fair’s New York debut and in honour of the artists of Frieze Projects, of which Mulberry is the sponsor.

Frieze Projects is a not-for-profit initiative featuring commissioned artworks around the outdoor space of Randall’s Island, which are accessible to all visitors to the area. The dinner was held at The Crown restaurant on New York’s Upper East Side (readers of my fashion column in the SI Style magazine know this place already).

Lana Del Rey

American singer Lana Del Rey performed during the evening, wearing the three quarter blouse in flame heavy lace and the fitted pencil skirt in flame, both from the F/W 2012 Collection. Lana was Emma Hill’s inspiration for Mulberry’s newest bag, the Del Rey, which launches in stores and online in mid-May.

Last night, May 5 influencers from the worlds of fashion and art came together to join NET-A-PORTER for a cocktail party and dinner celebrating Frieze Art Fair’s Chelsea Gallery Night, a night where more than 20 of Chelsea’s finest galleries opened their doors for a neighborhood block party filled with exclusive gallery previews, live music and food.

The NET-A-PORTER-sponsored event at the Hôtel Americano kicked off with roof-top cocktails and music by London DJ, Bip Ling, and continued with a seated dinner.

Welcome to the Coachella Festival, the annual music and arts festival in the California Desert, during which Mulberry hosted two events in Palm Springs this weekend:

The Firepit Party on Friday 13th April and the following day on Saturday 14th a BBQ Pool Party, both at the Parker Hotel.

The guests included Emma Hill, Kate Bosworth, Emma Watson and Lily Collins to name a few. Needless to say, the ladies were all dressed up very fashionably, mostly in Mulberry. The festival dress code: short denim pants, little tank tops and floral dresses.
Some of them wore already the newest pieces for the upcoming F/W 2012 season. Pretty challenging as the Coachella Music Festival has a desert setting, with daytime temperatures frequently rising to over 110 °F (43 °C). And believe me, I have been there, it is HOT!
