Two weeks ago, the lovely Net-à-porter team contacted me and asked if I would like to join their #EmpoweredBy campaign that they are running this month. Though we may spend quite some time devising our Halloween decorations, the holiday is gone in a flash and we are left with the next one to come. Each year, I love to dress my Christmas tree in a different color theme. Therefore I am always looking for some new inspirations.

London Fashion Week S/S 2015 finished yesterday and I have a gazillion things to show you! One thing that really has caught my eye are those super-playful stickers from Anya Hindmarch‘s crazy runway show that got everyone talking. It is such a fun way to reboot your accessories.

Created in collaboration with Charlotte Stockdale of Chaos Fashion, you can stick it to your work diary for a playful bit of visual motivation, but please note, those stickers are designed to adhere to surfaces permanently so once applied they cannot be removed.

For the runway finale, Anya Hindmarch let the models waltz in life-size neon teacups onto the set while dancers clad in ultraviolet skeleton bodysuits performed a “Thriller”-style dance.

I am a huge fan of Joseph Altuzarra’s work and really indulged into his F/W 2014 pieces from the runway. His eponymous label seamlessly blends French sophistication with American ease. Now, the award-winning designer has collaborated with US retailer Target to product a limited edition collection that aims to “instill a feeling of power, confidence and beauty in women everywhere”, which basically means that his must-have creations are available for a small amount of money.

Today, I am off to London. In my suitcase are the most quintessential travel accessories you can imagine for fashion week. A few weeks ago, NET-A-PORTER‘s iconic black box arrived on my doorstep personalized with my initials.

Inside, a luxurious edit of everything needed for the shows, a bespoke fashion week survival gift sent by the famous online shopping destination to influential bloggers and friends of the brand.

Tata! Here are the first pics of of the highly-­anticipated collector toy, Barbie Lagerfeld, a collaboration between Mattel, Inc. and KARL LAGERFELD.

Taking inspiration from the the designer’s signature style, Barbie Lagerfeld is dressed in his likeness with accents taken from the real KARL LAGERFELD line. Borrowing from Karl’s iconic silhouette, the doll wears a tailored black jacket, white high-collared men’s shirt with French cuffs and black satin cravat finished off with fitted black jeans featuring the iconic all-over head print. The exclusive doll is adorned in accessories that include black fingerless gloves, sunglasses, black ankle boots and a leather purse with silver metallic accents.

The worldwide launch is set for Monday, September 29, 2014 during Paris Fashion Week. The Platinum-label Barbie Lagerfeld doll will be available in limited quantities (only 999 dolls will be produced) for approximately $200 USD or €200 Euro through exclusive retail channels including; NET-A-PORTER, select KARL LAGERFELD retail stores, TheBarbieCollection.com, and Colette in Paris.

Here is the outfit that I wore to the wonderful dinner hosted by Net-à-Porter on Wednesday in London to celebrate Mary Katrantzou. To honor her and as I am a huge fan of her work, I wore one of her uber-fabulous designs from her S/S 2014 collection.

My look: Cropped printed satin-gabardine top and structured printed satin-gabardine skirt, both by Mary Katrantzou (great news, both pieces are now on sale), suede platform sandals and embellished python bag, both by Prada, Apophis cuff by Saint Laurent.
