A girl can never have too many shoes. So what are the style we will be drooling over next season? Have a look at the F/W 2022 shoe trends below. With the new season arriving in stores, there’s no doubt we’re getting all excited about the newest must-haves footwear. Platforms and overknee boots are still on top of the list. Label of the moment for a shoe investment? Loewe! Jonathan Anderson created many trendy styles for the Spanish house that fashionistas around the globe will try to get their hands on. Don’t forget to put yourself on the waitlist for the CHANEL wellington boots. A must!

Summer season’s popular platform pumps have birthed a movement of sky-high, vampy-sweet shoes that will take us to new heights in winter.
From Loewe’s artsy metallic sandals to Jil Sander’s shimmering gold mules, metallic shine was everywhere this season.
The overknee boot is still holding very strong. However, you might need extra-long legs to wear this season’s best boots.
Designers went big on details with buckles going to the extreme.
Sneakers have gone from chunky dad styles to sophisticated styles. Be it a 3D-printed morph shoe at Stella McCartney, to a mule sneaker at Vuitton or a skate style at Loewe.
This boots are made for walking. Chloé, Dior, and others are betting on outdoorsy, walkable boots.
Designer are getting some fluffy action with footwear in soft textures and oversized volumes.

Hybrid fashion has been trending for some time now and it is a must when you are looking for refreshing staples. Here you see me wearing a deconstructed sweater that instantly catches your eye. Spliced with a lace-trimmed cream satin camisole through the middle, it slouches off the shoulder and has an adjustable spaghetti strap. The gray wool-blend is knitted with touches of cashmere so it feels soft and cozy. Perfect for a stroll through the city.
My look: Cashmere coat in pink by Prada, paneled wool-blend, lace and satin sweater by Alexander Wang, drawstring shorts by Givenchy, suede overknee boots by Dior, Kelly «So Black» by Hermès, GG jacquard pattern knitted scarf, and rabbit-felt fedora, both by Gucci.
The key to fight the autumn blues is to wear some vibrant colors and to have a glowing complexion. One product I can highly recommend is LA MER‘s new The Luminous Lifting Cushion Foundation SPF 20. This all-in-one compact is also a hybrid product, a mixture between powder and foundation, especially great for touch-ups on the go. With healing hydration from Miracle Broth™ and color capsule technology, it gives skin a lift of luminosity—for a fresh, flawless look and a plumper, firmer feel, like cashmere for your skin. Available now for CHF 115.00 including a refill and additional sponge applicator.

Before leaving my hotel room on Sunday night, I took some photos of my outfit by myself. Somehow, I knew that I would be so busy at the Cavalli event that I would forget to ask somebody to take some pics of my look. Good decision!
I wore a dress and a belt from Matthew Williamson‘s S/S 2009 collection. The British designer is always a great choice when you are looking for cocktail attire. His designs are beautiful and non-seasonal as you can see. Click here to shop a great selection of Matthew Williamson dresses.
My look: White dress with colourful embellishments and wide studded belt by Matthew Williamson, fringed leather bag by Roberto Cavalli, overknee boots and earrings with marina chain motif and dark garnet colored beads, both by Gucci.

Here it is look N°2 from LuisaViaRoma’s Firenze4Ever Total Styling Lab, so-called “Venus in Fur”. Some might not be so delighted about winter’s must-have, but fur was one of the trend materials on the runways. A fur vest is a great investment piece, very versatile to wear.
The `60s inspired dress by Giambattista Valli has a fun detail. The attached cape can be worn as a hood. I especially like the neon-coloured little waist band.
Céline’ s box bag has definitely become a classic. For this outfit, I chose the leopard print version which I find very chic. To shop the look, just click on the highlighted text:
Fur Vest: SIMONETTA RAVIZZA – Dress: GIAMBATTISTA VALLI – Bag: CELINE – Overknee Boots: CASADEI – Watch: ROGER DUBUIS
More from Florence to come…
