Today, I had an amazing and long day: The LuisaVia Roma Total Styling Lab, many interviews, a panel discussion about blogging where people could ask us all sort of questions and finally a great dinner at La Specola in Salone Degli Scheletri.
Stay tuned for all the photos to come and an interview with Laudomia Pucci, daughter of Emilio Pucci.
In the meantime, have a look at my outfit today that I told you about before. So here you can see the final result of my shopping spree. It is all about Pucci…
Embroidered Dress – Emilio Pucci, Suede Overknee Boots – Emilio Pucci, Bag – Bottega Veneta, Earrings – Chanel and Watch – Roger Dubuis.

The new cruise 2011 pieces are arriving in stores and some work perfectly for the winter season. Wish upon a star with Christopher Kane’s galactic space print.
The combination with leather is utterly unique and turns on immediately your star factor.
I wore the dress last night with a cropped jacket by Alexander Wang and a fur vest by Miu Miu. Add some overknee boots for total evening cool and finish off your look with some killer jewelry.
To your inner evening star!

As you already know if there is one piece fashion is gushing over this F/W 2010, it is the camel coat. Being a true classic and always in style, this season seems to be the perfect time to get one. Many designers showed their own unique take on it. Whether it is made from genuine camel hair or not, it is an investment always worth it.
In case you have not decided yet, please find above a summary of the best pieces in stores at the moment. There is something for every taste and budget.
I decided to go for the long caramel camel-wool wrap coat by Chloé. It is a very versatile piece. Cinched at the waist with the skinny tan belt or thrown over loose, the overall impact is pure sophistication.
I love to wear it tone on tone with my chunky wool cardigan dress by Stella McCartney and my suede Gucci overknee boots for an instant sensual upgrade. The Céline box bag adds the perfect minimalistic chic.
The probably most authentic choice is the iconic and much-copied Max Mara cashmere blend overcoat that launched in 1981. It has been the company’s bestseller since nearly thirty years. What the trench is to Burberry, the classic camel coat is to Max Mara, specifically the model with the so-called style number “101801”.
Therefore, it is no wonder that the Italian brand has recently used the wool and cashmere icon to launch its e-commerce business. The double-breasted outerwear piece has an 42 inch length and kimono sleeves that can be rolled up. Its proportions make it an ideal fit for all women. It can be personalized with a special lining and a name or monogram on the inside label.
Available for purchase exclusively at maxmara.com.

Sweater dressing has been trendy since quite awhile but this winter you can indulge in reminiscences of all those gorgeous and easy looks from the `70s and `80s. Preferably loose-knit and tone on tone, we will enjoy the new comfortable freedom. Wear your sweater dresses with opaque tights, ankle boots and the must-have accessory: a thin belt around the waist!
Extra long boyish cardigans can also do a similiar job. Stella McCartney has some seriously sexy ones. If you like you can combine them with a wide belt like Sonia Rykiel showed on the runway which will give your outfit more shape and spice it up.
You will be surprised how another oldie out of your closet can look brand new this season if you play a litttle with it. The Chanel way looks so sexy. A belted sweater worn as an ultra-mini dress combined with fur overknee boots.
In case that you just cannot wait for all these gorgeous runway looks to arrive, I have provided a fabulous pre-fall 2010 look for you that is already available:
Wrap up the new season with a leather self-tie belt by Vionnet worn over a loose cashmere knitted dress like the one by Chloé. The goat hair trench coat by Burberry Prorsum would finish off your look with style along with the suede knee-high wedge boots by Guiseppe Zanotti and the sloughy bag by See by Chloé.
Comfortable and übercool in one!

Camilla Skovgaard F/W 2010
High heeled, stilettoed, up to the thigh, those boots are insane and definitely to become the hits of the season. Just imagine your legs in them! Those jaw-dropping models from the F/W 2010 collections will make you speechless and others green with envy.
The overknee is going to stay for another season, love the Burberry ones. You could feel a saloon-girl approach in detail and line at Balmain or Givenchy, lace-up and mid-calf, you are ready to dance the Can-Can. But no worries, it is a very modern look, not at all disguised.
Architecturally amazing are the soles of Viktor & Rolf, even if they seem to be a copy of Camilla Skovgaard`s signature style (see left).
Buckled, fringed – there are certainly no rules, experiment with such a variety of shapes and models. I am sure that there is already one that has conquered your heart! To be in stores soon…
LoL, Sandra
