A statement in khaki with strong military influences, the parka is back this winter. Lined with fur and extremely practical, it is truly fun to battle the elements in style this season.
My look: Cotton parka with fur trimmed hood by Saint Laurent, loose knit cardigan and striped velour tunic camisole, both by Rodarte, leather leggings by Gucci, fringed python bag by Chanel (Paris-Dallas collection), Janis embellished suede ankle boots by Saint Laurent, leopard-print scarf by Balmain, rose diamond necklace by Piaget, Lady Excalibur watch by Roger Dubuis and diamond ring by Vainard Fine Jewellery.

As promised earlier, here is a detailed post about my look that I wore at Mount Rushmore National Memorial.
Cut out panel dress (on sale) and openwork parka, both from Givenchy’s Resort 2012 collection, lime green leather pumps by Prada, brown Pandora bag by Givenchy, brass eagle and cross earrings (on sale) by Emilio Pucci, wide cuff by Stella McCartney and cat eye glitter acetate and metal sunglasses by Miu Miu.
The cowboy hat is a souvenir from Wyoming.
Hope that you like it! Off to new adventures…

Here are some photos of the beautiful hiking tour I did last week. I love Bavaria and wanted to share those very picturesque photos with you. Religious symbols (see below) are everywhere in the South of Germany, even in the woods.
My hiking outfit: Leggings and top by American Apparel, cotton parka by Balmain, zebra-print calfskin hiking boots by Prada, watch by Roger Dubuis and sunglasses by Marni.
My foreign readers might understand why the dirndl (traditional costume in Bavaria) is very popular here. It just fits in so perfectly with the landscape and the cozy way of living.
