Last month, another baby was born: we celebrated the launch of L’OFFICIEL VOYAGE SWITZERLAND at the home of R Selection, the luxurious travel agency in Zurich.

The first issue of our new travel dedicated supplement which is published in German and French is still on newsstands nationwide, along with the October issue gracing Charlize Theron. Some of you might remember when I flew to Paris to interview the blonde actress. If you are interested, you have to hurry. There is not so much time left until our next L’OFFICIEL SWITZERLAND issue will arrive.

By the way, if you subscribe to L’OFFICIEL SWITZERLAND, you will get it a day earlier than the newsstands! The travel supplement will come for free with it twice a year.

Supermodel Patricia Schmid who graced our launch issue came from Paris for the party, here she is with Werner Dirks (La Prairie Switzerland) and my humble self.

This was one of the stunning looks we shot for L’Officiel Switzerland‘s launch issue. While Marco Grob photographed Patricia Schmid, I couldn’t resist to take some pics as well. She looked absolutely breathtaking in this tribal inspired outfit and made heads turn in front of the George V Hotel in Paris.

Being the editor-in-chief of L’Officiel Switzerland has taken me on a wonderful journey that started with an amazing cover and fashion shoot in Paris. I am extremely proud of it and I would like to thank my wonderful dedicated team. Renowned photographer Marco Grob shot Swiss supermodel Patricia Schmid for our first issue. I did the styling and the three of us, being all aquarius, were a trio infernal! It is just a blessing to work with such highly professional people.

The first day, we photographed inside the gorgeous George V Hotel where my suite was transformed into a photo and hair & make-up studio.

The minute we started photographing this look, I knew this will be my cover!

The second day, we shot on location. Poor Patricia, it was freezing cold even though the sun was shining. But what could she do… cropped tops are a must this summer.

Fighting the cold with quick stops in the car…

… and a hot foot bath in the end of the day!

Last Thursday, the launch party for L’Officiel Switzerland took place in Zurich at Kaufleuten. With a stunning atmosphere, reminiscent of 1920s Paris, where it all began over 90 years ago, the fashionable crowd partied until late. L’Officiel is still family owned and I was thrilled to have Marie-José Susskind-Jalou and Benjamin Eymère with us at the launch party in Zurich. Mother and son, President and CEO of this legendary family business that started in 1921 and brings together the very best of French heritage in style, fashion and joie de vivre. Today is a very special day for me. My baby is born. The first edition of L’Officiel Switzerland is hitting the shelves. Last night, we celebrated the launch with a wild party. The photos will be coming up shortly. I still need to recover from yesterday…

I am so happy with the outcome and hope that you will like it, too. On the cover is the gorgeous Patricia Schmid dressed in Chanel photographed by Marco Grob.

Here you can see us three during yesterday’s press conference at the Park Hyatt Zurich.

I was thrilled to welcome also the President of Les Editions Jalou Marie-José Susskind-Jalou, her son Benjamin Eymère, who is the CEO of the company, as well as Deputy CEO at L’Officiel Magazine Nicolas Reynaud who had flown in to celebrate the launch with us. Les Editions Jalou is a legendary French family business since 1921 and I am proud to be part of the family now.
