Nothing has changed since last winter… more is more is still the motto, this is what the S/S 2017 season is all about! With fashion in a maximalist mood, accessories have kept their center stage. On the runways, kitten heels are back, earrings were bigger than ever, and one bag is definitely not enough. New? The marriage of socks and boots. The forecast: Get ready for your another sumptuous season!
LoL, Sandra

Velvet is the trend fabric this F/W 2016 season. I have always loved it for the holiday season as it is such a festive material. Since last summer, I have been crazy for the designs that Lorenzo Serafini creates for Philosophy. They are stylish and have a great price point.
This blue velvet dress has become my first disappointment because after wearing it only one day, all seams around the sleeves tore. Unfortunately, I had to give it back – a service that I like about online shopping, no discussion, just a refund to your credit card.
My look: Quilted nylon coat with mink by Gucci, embellished lace-trimmed blue velvet mini dress by Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini, blue velvet ankle boots by Miu Miu and 2.55 quilted bag with attached hanger by Chanel (Front Row Only F/W 2016 collection).

This winter, it is all about the soft focus. Prada, Giorgio Armani, Saint Laurent and Valentino, they all made a case for velvet on the runway. In shades of burgundy and red, the must-have fabric looks divine, but needless to say, black, blue and dark green will add up to your wardrobe as well.
Get the look: Angie velvet blazer and merlot velvet shirt, both by Saint Laurent, wallet on a chain velvet shoulder bag and leather and velvet platform sandals, both by Prada.

I am so excited to include the plush fabric into my new season wardrobe, it feels equally retro and right now.

Florals are a springtime given. Get yourself in a garden state of mind with lush, colorful botanical prints that work for fashion parties, business meetings and many other occasions. I love the bohemian vibe of this look – potent blooms at their best, available at FAHIONVESTIS.

My favorite season is spring, I love when nature is awakening, the air is smelling sweet and you can finally be outside enjoying the sunshine. It is also the time when I love to wear white. Isn’t this dress I got at FASHIONVESTIS just beautiful? It is airy, light and has this certain bohemian vibe that I adore so much…
My look: Broderie anglaise dress with corset belt by Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini, Anita fringed suede shoulder bag and ankle suede boots, both by Saint Laurent, cocktail ring by Chanel, suede hat by Balenciaga and Carlina round-frame gold-tone sunglasses by Chloé.

If you have read the February issue of L’OFFICIEL Switzerland, you might remember Monika Wildi and her fabulous Zurich based online shop FASHIONVESTIS. Three years ago she started this fashion adventure. Today she carries a great selection of young brands and upcoming designers.
Get the look: Blue sweater by Paul & Joe, raffia shopper by Vanessa Bruno, white shirt, embroidered shorts and cowboy boots, all three by Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini.
Great news is that you can find the beautiful collection of Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini at FASHION VESTIS. The former Dolce & Gabbana womenswear designer was appointed in October 2014 as Creative Director of the brand that was founded in 1984 by Alberta Ferretti.
His second runway collection for Philosophy showcases beautiful dresses lush with painterly florals and Victorian embellishments, spicing it up with a hint of the undone prairie girl.
The package comes beautifully wrapped if you order at Fashion Vestis.
I couldn’t resist those two looks, stay tuned for the outfit posts coming up soon…
