What an extraordinary Easter weekend! The sun shining is from above, nature is blossoming at its best and I am at home with my loved ones. Stay home, stay chic – that’s the spirit and so I have dressed up to play a little Easter princess under my Magnolia tree.
My look: Super Eight ruffled floral-print cotton and silk-blend voile top and Super Eight belted floral-print cotton and silk-blend voile maxi skirt, both by Zimmermann, Knightsbridge oversized satin-cloqué bow and Knightsbridge bow crepe-cloqué hair clip, both by Emilia Wickstead, floral cuff and earrings, both by Dolce & Gabbana, small messenger flap bag in Tiffany blue by CHANEL and platform sandals by Alaïa.
Happy Easter weekend to all of you!
LoL, Sandra

One week ago, the 14th Zurich Film Festival opened with the European premiere of director Peter Farrelly’s drama GREEN BOOK, that for the first time in the festival’s history led to standing ovations. Farrelly and Academy Award® nominee Viggo Mortensen (Eastern Promises, The Lord of the Rings Trilogy) attended as honored guests.
My look: Vintage eagle plaque shoulder bag and vintage eagle earrings, both by Chanel, button-embellished tweed gown by Balmain and platform sandals by Alaïa.
After the screening, the after party took place at Globus Bellevue. Partying in a store is always a great experience…

Here is the outfit that I wore to the wonderful dinner hosted by Net-à-Porter on Wednesday in London to celebrate Mary Katrantzou. To honor her and as I am a huge fan of her work, I wore one of her uber-fabulous designs from her S/S 2014 collection.
My look: Cropped printed satin-gabardine top and structured printed satin-gabardine skirt, both by Mary Katrantzou (great news, both pieces are now on sale), suede platform sandals and embellished python bag, both by Prada, Apophis cuff by Saint Laurent.

S/S 2012 is all about print, especially floral and ikat print, but how far are you willing to go?
Think head-to-toe as seen at the Matthew Williamson S/S 2012 show and add a colourful standout clutch for the ultimate fashion statement.
If you nod to the look confidently, the compliments will be all yours.
Shop the look:
Floral ikat print blouse and floral ikat print trousers by Matthew Williamson, Falabella fold-over clutch by Stella McCartney and textured-leather platform sandals by Rochas.
The perfect outfit for a nice spring day.

Here is my first look from the LuisaViaRoma Styling Lab: GYPSY VIBE and I can finally reveal the secret which pug dog I have adpoted: It is the cute Emilio Pucci one which is inspired by the house’s iconic Marquise bag.
You know already that I am a huge fan of the Florentine house and the Pucci S/S 2012 collection is definitely on my shopping list.
To shop the look, just click on the highlighted text:
Printed lace top and long organza skirt, both by Emilio Pucci, platform sandals by Versace, neon-coral PS1 small leather satchel (amazing colour) by Proenza Schouler, straw hat by Borsalino and Mirador crochet earrings by Carolina Bucci.
I hope that you like it as much as I do!

Go bold at cocktail hour with a red statement dress. Everything floral, like prints or applications, is essential this summer. My winner is this bright-red strapless silk mini dress with pleats and oversized flowery ruffles by Stella McCartney. This show-stopping runway style deserves center stage; slip on some gorgeous sandals (mine are the Fendi ones from the show) and keep the accessories simple.
If you don`t want to spend so much on such an eyecatching dress that everybody will remember you in, the smocked version from the H&M Garden Collection in organic cotton with a floral pattern is a great choice. The price (£29.99, $39.95, €39.95) is very attractive and like that you can`t go wrong.
To the Ladies in Red!
