PRADA presents a new range of options for the Made to Order Women’s Shoe collection, a project dedicated to giving customers the opportunity to create a unique, custom-made shoe.
Eighteen models of pumps, slingbacks, ballet flats, boots and sandals with or without platforms and with eight different heel heights are available in a wide range of materials and shades.
The range of iconic Prada prints on a patent leather base has been expanded, with the Lipstick, Barocco and Roses as well as the new Dahlia flames and Mermaids flames patterns: Prada’s iconic prints from various seasons are mixed for a totally new and striking result.
The pumps and slingbacks can now be customized with a detachable poplin bow that comes in nine different prints.
After choosing the model, material and colour, customers can select the colour of the sole (black, phard or light blue) and add their initials, charms or numbers. As an alternative, it will be possible to add the same elements – but in leather – on the exclusive satin dust bag.
The customization continues beyond the product: the packaging for the shoes will match the style chosen so either the classic blue box embellished with an elastic band and metal plaque or one of the Prada prints. The shoes will be delivered eight weeks from order.

Friday’s dress code «Parisian Chic – Je Ne Regrette Rien» for the amazing ASW Winter Weekend in Gstaad was so much fun. I went through my closet and put together some vintage and new pieces for this Cancan-style outfit. The tights incorporated excessive glitz that you cannot see so well on the pictures. Animal prints were trending on the F/W 2018 catwalks and so it is time to take a walk on the wild side. But this season, it means vibrant colours, preferably red, and definitely not for the shy… as the bold prints are worn head to toe as seen at Tom Ford. I wore this outfit last week for a X-mas cocktail among dear friends and got lots of compliments for it.

For the winter season, Tom Ford Beauty introduces Tom Ford Boys & Girls, a decadent collection of 15 clutch-sized mini lipsticks, named after the friends, intimates and collaborators Mr. Ford admires. My favorite shade: Hudson, a perfect rosy beige.
Scent: Lost Cherry Eau de Parfum is a new scent, that is part of Tom Ford’s Private Blend collection. It includes the following notes: black cherry accord, bitter almond, griotte sirup Scenttek™, rose absolute Orpur®, Peru balsam, and roasted tonka Orpur.
I feel in love with it from my first spritz and not only because of the name. If you like gourmand fragrances like me, you will adore this blended mix of warmth and sweetness of cherries and vanilla with a hint of rose coming through combined with almond.

On Tuesday, I hosted a lovely event with Prada at their Zurich store on Bahnhofstrasse to explore the new Resort 2019 collection. In a previous post, I already wrote about the beautiful pieces and how pioneering Miuccia Prada‘s designs for the new season are. Enjoying a glass of bubbly while indulging in fashion among friends, do I have to say more? Everything was just perfect. I put together some of my favorite looks and explained how I would style the looks to achieve this interesting kind of twist. Below you can enjoy some impressions and more details about the must-have pieces.
I adore these new shirts so much. It seems to be a traditional striped classic, but if you look closer, you will be surprised by its updated look with brocade ruffles and a zipper.
The new mini suede skirts come with a ruffled hem and are surely among the bestselling pieces.
Here is a look I styled with everything I love from this collection: the ruffled leather skirts, brocade fabrics, knitted loafers and the fun mix of colours.
The knitted footwear also comes as a pointed toe version with a high heel in several colour combinations. To die for!
Everyone loved the headpieces in silk that are available in several colours.
I am also a big fan of the patterns – something Miuccia Prada is famous for.
These trapper hats are the perfect way to stay warm and stylish at once.
The new Sidonie bags – a curvaceous, ergonomic shape, a modern classic rediscovered.

Hybrid fashion has been trending for some time now and it is a must when you are looking for refreshing staples. Here you see me wearing a deconstructed sweater that instantly catches your eye. Spliced with a lace-trimmed cream satin camisole through the middle, it slouches off the shoulder and has an adjustable spaghetti strap. For Resort 2019 Miuccia Prada helped to give us the 90’s rebirth we needed after all this ’80s dominance. And let’s be honest, it had to be her to celebrate this nineties nostalgia as she was the designer who had actually invented the «ugly chic» at that time. She looked through the archives, specifically her collections from the 1990s, for references this season.
The PRADA Resort 2019 show took place in New York City.
The outcome? Printed low-slung trousers with matching jackets, amazing leather coats and my favorite looks, belted miniskirts with ruffled detailing combined with cute polo tops. Moreover a new bag shape, that will probably sell out very fast.

A PRADA bag is always a great investment. I went through my closet to dust these S/S 2000 beauties. As I keep on recommending… don’t throw away your designer items, there will always be a time again for them. And those bags have just found their moment again.
Needless to say, I also would like to buy a new Sidonie bag for my own personal PRADA collection. I adore this blue and black version:
