My avid readers know how much I love Tom Ford’s Private Blend collection, among my favorites are Lost Cherry, Rose Prick, Lavender Extrême and Bitter Peach. Therefore, I was very excited to explore the newest fragrance launch, Tubéreuse Nue, that conjures the fresh petals of night-blooming tuberose and jasmine as they sway in the moonlight, exuding extravagant sensuality. One word: beautiful! Rising to a rhapsody of unparalleled pleasure, spiced akigalawood and time pepper add an illicit potency to this mystical dance. A soft, sensual blanket of musk captures the erotic afterglow, promising the mood – and the longing – endures.

But be careful, this new oriental floral fragrance is an unpologetic tuberose scent. If you love the flower, you will become addicted to this new scent that dries down amazingly with its beautiful base notes of suede, musk, tonka bean and agarwood. Warm, different, sensual … a wonderful addition to my collection.

TOM FORD BEAUTY‘s latest addition to the brand’s high-end fragrance collection, Private Blend, is called BITTER PEACH and evokes the sweet scent of freshly picked ripe peaches delivering a lasting reminder of sweet July days. It’s definitely a fall-appropriate tribute to the summer fruit. The unisex composition is sweet and sensual, but also rich and characterful, blended with notes of fruity blood orange balanced by woody patchouli, labdanum and davana, finished off with smooth sandalwood. The American fashion house has dropped their new cheekily-named fragrance, just in time for Valentine’s Day and it is very Tom Ford.

F*cking Fabulous. Lost Cherry. And now Rose Prick. The latest cheeky offering is certainly no exception and a rose by any other name wouldn’t be Tom Ford… Strong, unexpected, seductive, with an amazing staying power, the new fragrance smells just as delectable as it looks.

It isn’t overly rosey, inspite of its name, but it imparts a full-bodied rose scent, accented by spicy Sichuan pepper and warm notes of turmeric and patchouli. Personally speaking, after a few seconds I smelled some chocolaty gourmand notes on me, before the deliciously heady trilogy of Rose de Mai, Turkish rose and Bulgarian rose, which  is one of the rarest varieties of rose in the world, takes over. The base is sweet and sexy with patchouli and tonka bean, finished with caramel, vanilla, and musk.

 You’ve already made space on your shelf haven’t you? I felt the same way when I read the press release. I am so happy to have added the brand new Eau de Parfum to my fragrance collection because it ticks so many boxes for me, not only in terms of the scent itself but also because this matte baby pink bottle with its sophisticated signature black label looks so pretty in my bathroom.
