While you are reading this post, I am in the plane on my way to Los Angeles with Piaget for the Independent Spirit Awards and many more adventures. Last year’s outfit for this outstanding ceremony can easily translate into 2016 with those amazing little creatures on the skirt. This cardigan has truly reinvigorated my wardrobe. It works perfectly day and night and it is a comfy way to wear sequins. I wore this outfit to the Hilfiger dinner that I posted about recently.

In Amsterdam I stayed at The College Hotel which I can absolutely recommend. One night, I had dinner with my Dutch friends at Nacional, which is a great restaurant reminiscent of a Parisian brasserie. Afterwards, we had drinks at Bo Cinq followed by some dancing at Jimmy Woo.

On Saturday evening, I attended the Zoofäscht 2014 one of the highlights of Zurich’s social calendar. The black tie event takes place every second year and collects money to support the Zurich Zoo. This time, CHF 850.000 were collected for the new Yak-enclosure.

On Thursday evening, we celebrated the launch of L’Officiel Switzerland. Finally, our first edition is at the kiosk. Personally speaking, I couldn’t have been more excited and of course I am wishing upon a star that it will be a success story. To make a dream come true, I thought wearing some stars might eventually help! Supposedly if you make a wish when you see the first star come out at night, the wish will come true. So better to wear many…

Our presenting sponsor, Aston Martin, offered me a car for the day and I loved it!

This weekend close friends of mine got married. It was a very romantic and beautiful private wedding celebration with lots of tears of joy and laughter. The bride looked breathtakingly stunning and so thought the handsome groom. One detail that I truly loved was that each guest had a little heart with his name on the table filled with a personalized quote.

Last night, I went to the Zurich Opera Ball. This is a black tie event taking place once a year at the opera house which marks a highlight on Switzerland’s event calendar.
