Last week, I flew to Abu Dhabi to greet the winner of the amazing contest with Etihad Airways, L’Officiel Switzerland and Sandra’s Closet. Nadya Toncheva from Hamburg won a shopping spree at The Galleria on Al Maryah Island and we truly had a great time.
Abu Dhabi’s premier lifestyle destination offers a world-class shopping experience while absorbing panoramic views of the city’s skyline. Enjoy some impressions of our shopping spree in the Middle East below.
Having fun at Dior
Nadya looking all fabulous in this Ralph Lauren look.
A happy Sandra in shopping heaven who just adores her job!
A must-have for a well equipped closet: a cotton-gabardine trench coat by Burberry London. Nadya fell immediately in love with it!
While shopping at Burberry, I spotted myself on the big screen front row at the S/S 2015 runway show in London.
We browsed almost every store in The Galleria and put many things aside. Then we had a drink and decided which pieces would be the best. Needless to say we had to get the fabulous cotton-gabardine trench coat by Burberry London first.
Nadya was looking for great pieces she could wear during the day for work that would translate easily into evening wear. This tunic blouse by Tory Burch offered both in perfection.
Mission accomplished!
Filming a little behind the scenes video for The Galleria with lovely Maria Bosenko.
Thank you Journey Feng and Maria Bosenko of the hospitality team at The Galleria for accompanying us and taking all the pictures. We had a lot of fun with you, guys!
Our lovely day ended with a yummy dinner at Cipriani and another round of drinks at Iris. Nadya, it was lovely meeting you!
LoL, Sandra

This week in Paris with Dior, I had barely time for anything but I managed to have a quick shopping spree on Avenue Montaigne, the famous shopping street in the 8th arrondissement. Personally speaking, it is one of the most beautiful destinations to indulge in high fashion in the world. It boasts numerous stores, such as Givenchy, Chanel, and Saint Laurent, as well as other upscale establishments such as the Plaza Athénée hotel, with is under construction at the moment.
My look: Smoking blazer by Balmain, slub cotton-jersey top by James Perse, red skinny stretch-leather pants, Sac Du Jour leather tote and red ankle boots, all three by Saint Laurent, Lady Excalibur watch by Roger Dubuis, Diorette ring and earrings, both by Dior Haute Joaillerie.

You know what I will be doing today… I will be buying all my Christmas presents as for the first time ever, I have not bought one single one. The last weeks were so busy with work that time flew without me realizing it. Yes, I would love to put my bag over my head and just pretend I can do some magic. So if you see me today in the city, say hi and cheer me up.
My look to go shopping: Grey travel poncho by Poncho Company Switzerland, fine-knit wool turtleneck sweater by Lanvin, Photo Ready mid-rise skinny jeans by J Brand, plaid bag and scarf, both by Karl Lagerfeld, green suede tote bag by Hogan, Simona ankle boots by De Siena, earrings by Dior, frog ring by Roberto Cavalli and Pasha C watch by Cartier.
Believe in the magic of Christmas and enjoy the special moments among the ones you love most!

I still owe you my photos from Texas, which was the last stop of my road trip through the US. The first day in Dallas, I went shopping at the Highland Park Village, which is an upscale shopping mall and the home of brands like Chanel, Stella McCartney, Jimmy Choo, Christian Louboutin among others. It was the first self-contained shopping center in America and therefore declared a National Historic Landmark in 2000.
My look: Two-tone stretch-jersey contour dress and cuff by Stella McCartney, bowtie pasta and cameo clip earrings by Dolce & Gabbana, coral shape heels by Chanel, Audrey wayfarer sunglasses by Céline and Pandora bag by Givenchy.
On my nails: “Today Was A Fairytale” with Virgin Diamond Powder by Deborah Lippmann.
It was very funny to see my new two-tone dress in Stella McCartney‘s window and later inside.
Stay tuned for more photos of this outfit as I went after my shopping spree to the famous Southfork Ranch.
By the way, if you like Mexican food, you have to eat at Mi Cocina, located in the Highland Park Village. So yummy!
