Since last season, the slipper shoe has been on every fashionista’s style radar and there is no end in sight. Prada has just launched a stunning capsule collection that is screaming “BUY ME”. The new Prada slippers feature a range of distinctive details and novel combinations.
The classic form with leather sole is developed in multiple variations, each with a powerful identity. Here are five proposals:
Slipper in iridescent velvet with embroidery in satin thread.
Slipper in three-color sequins. The embroidery recalls iconic Prada flowers and lozenges.
Slipper in brushed leather with metal studs and hand stitched paillettes.
Slipper in patent leather with plex embroidery and hand stitched paillettes.
Slipper in two-color patent leather.

Ladies, store your ballet flats! If you haven’t focused on the day-slipper trend, you really should embrace it. They are on the shopping list of every fashionista and a hot fixture on the fall high street. I went for leopard print slippers by Louis Vuitton in blue (for the previous post, please click here) – Poppy Delevigny has the same ones in red.
For fall, Miu Miu‘s velvet embroidered slippers are my season’s favourites, so chic!

This summer is all about print, preferably from head to toe. Print silk pants are among the season’s must-haves and I recently combined those two trends in one very comfy look:
Blue leo print top, matching pyjama silk pants, scarf, slippers and bag, all by Louis Vuitton, ring “Diorette” by Dior Haute Joaillerie and watch “Lady Excalibur” by Roger Dubuis.
Do you remember the bag? It was a gift from my girlfriends for my birthday. I think the coral is the perfect addition to the blue – a wonderful colour combination.
