I spent New Year’s Eve at Ku Dé Ta, Bangkok‘s recently opened new 2-story hot spot on the 39th and 40th floor of Sathorn Square Building. First, I enjoyed an eight course meal at the beautiful Signature restaurant followed by some dancing at the night club on the same level. Being already known in the Asian club scene because of its sister venue in Singapore, this entertainment playground is an awesome place you don’t want to miss while being in Thailand!
My look: Studded leather shift dress and leather bra top, both by Saint Laurent, wild flower gunmetal-tone Swarovski crystal ear cuffs by Roberto Cavalli, strappy sandals by Gucci, camouflage fold over clutch by Valentino, rose diamond ring and Limelight Gala watch, both by Piaget.
Again Happy New Year 2014 and thanks for following Sandra’s Closet!

This week, the limited Dior Summer Mix Edition 2013 will be hitting the shelves in Switzerland. It features four Diorblush Cheek Cremes, with a new creamy, mousse-like non greasy texture that blends easily. An absolutely amazing must-have beauty product for the summer season. Along with those four blushes come four nail polishes in hot, vibrant shades to mix and match. For me, it is all about the colour combination of coral and pink as you can see above.
Pink patent-leather ankle-cuff sandals, coral patent-leather envelope clutch, both by Gucci, Sunnies 448 nail polish and Bikini 871 blush cream, both by Dior.
BLUSH CREME – CHF 49.50 each (One shot)
Bikini 871, Capri 851, Panama 651, Pareo 971
VERNIS – CHF 37.00 each (One shot)
Capeline 658, Créoles 678, Sunnies 448, Tie & Dye 858

Last Wednesday, I attended the opening night of the new solo exhibition at the Gucci Museo in Florence. The museum presents four significant works from the Portuguese artist Joana Vasconcelos (open to the public until December 15, 2103). Red Independent Heart #1 and Psycho, both from the Pinault Collection, plus Lavoisier and the video work Hand-made will be exhibited in Italy for the first time.
My look, a mix of coral and fuchsia: Ruffled printed silk-gazar mini dress, pink patent-leather ankle-cuff sandals, coral patent-leather envelope clutch, necklace with coral flowers motif and earrings with fuchsia pendants, all by Gucci.
For more information on the Gucci museo, I invite you to have a look at this previous post.

This was my look today: Gucci head to toe mixed from different seasons.
Silk Dress (F/W 2011), Feodora Hat (F/W 2011), Fur Stole (F/W 2011), Strappy Sandals (S/S 2011) and Python Bag (S/S 2010) all by Gucci.
And here you see my twin: Giovanni Battaglia in the same dress. Fashion faux-pas? No, not if it is worn by the famous Italian stylist.
By the way, Anna dello Russo was also dressed head to toe in Gucci F/W 2011.
If you are living in Zurich, I recommend a visit to the Gucci store on Poststr., the loveliest service on earth!

For my first look of the LuisaViaRoma Total Styling Lab, I took inspiration from the Marakkesh trend for summer. The Moroccan style head wrap and crochet dress was very appealing to me and cohesive with this trend. A breeze of the `70s finished off the look perfectly.
Crochet Dress: EMILIO PUCCI – Scarf: MARUCELLI – Strappy sandals: GIUSEPPE ZANOTTI – Bangles: DALIA – Bag: ROBERTO CAVALLI

A dear subscriber of Sandra`s Closet asked for help. She is going to a wedding which will take place in a beautiful garden of a winery in Napa, California and wants to look stunning. Her request was that the outfit should be around $1000.- max.
I put some gorgeous styles together in different colour combinations. Let’s start with something classy in beige and gold for approximately $800.-. Contrast the polished look with a pair of cut-out booties and a hat for an über-stylish statement. (Dress by Karen Millen).
Soft pink is an exquisite colour to wear for a wedding party. The shift dress by D&G Dolce & Gabbana is a fabulously feminine choice. Complement the delicate pastel tone with suede pumps and a golden clutch.
The pochette by Anya Hindmarch is a little pricey at 525.- but an investment piece for many occassions to come.
I totally adore the hat clip for only $10.-. This modern and stylish take on the traditional wedding accessory will make you stand out of the crowd.
A contemporary choice for day and night is this purple halterneck dress for $355.- by Halston Heritage. The brand carries a lot of gorgeous dresses for less money.
Cinch this sculpted style at the waist with the self-tie belt and wear it with understated jewelry and strappy sandals for first class cocktail chic. A feather hair clip for only $27.- could give you that Blair Waldorf attitude. The whole outfit is $745.-. You can add a stylish leopard cardigan for $350.- if it gets chilly.
I love this vibrant asymmetric dress by Halston Heritage. The bright hue will look awesome on brunettes and dark haired ladies. Sharpen the playful rose detail with stunning lace booties and a beaded clutch. Bangles are always a fabulous finish. The complete look is without the jewelry around $850.-.
But careful, it is hard not to steal the show in those gorgeous outfits.
To a great wedding party!
