It Takes Two to Tan-Go

It takes two to tango – and shoes should never come alone. VALENTINO‘s iconic Tan-Go shoe has been on every fashionista’s wishlist lately. First launched in 2012 as a more modest version, the new take as skyrocketing platforms are now available in many versatile options, not only super stylish, but also ultra comfortable to dance the nights away.

My collection has become pretty extensive … it takes two to tango, or probably three, four, five …

LoL, Sandra

My Look: Pink & Burgundy

Pink and burgundy – an unexpected color combination I absolutely adore. It feels sophisticated and different. The play between the lighter pink and darker burgundy provides quite the grounding contrast and when worn together it ensures you’ll turn heads everywhere you go.

My look: Concert leather-trimmed wool-blend coaticon, and Concert printed silk twill shirt dress, both by Zimmermann, VLOGO leather shoulder bag in pink, and Tan-Go patent leather platform pumps, both by Valentino, Dynasty oversized geometric-frame sunglasses by Balenciaga, and clip earrings by CHANEL (Métiers d’Art 2012 Paris – Bombay).

My Look: Wild Soul

Sometimes it takes a wild soul and a wild mix to create something vibrant and different. This look was very unexpected as I had forgotten some pieces at home for fashion week and just put those ones together which in the end worked out very well, don’t you agree?

The only bummer was that the wind was so strong that day that my hat was taken by it and blown over the dirty streets of Paris. But as you know me, with lots of patience and magic cleaning hands, I saved it and it looks almost new.

My look: Optical Valentino-jacquard lamé-jersey long cardiganicon, cropped crocheted cotton-blend wide-leg pantsicon, fringed wool and cashmere-blend jacquard scarf, logo embellished rabbit-felt fedoraiconV-logo leather shoulder bagicon, and Tan-Go patent leather platform pumps, all by Valentino, necklace by Alessandra Rich, andicon metallic stretch-jersey bodysuit by Saint Laurent.
