On the S/S 2016 runways, oversized florals burst into full bloom. Large in scale, the blossoms have been seen in all ways, preferably on wide-leg pants and tops. Here you see me wearing the trend on a business trip in Bali last month. Comfortable and stylish in one.
For those who have missed it or don’t have the chance to watch Swiss television, here is the last Spotlight show from the Tiffany & Co. opening in Geneva that was presented last week (for the post about the event, please click here). The episode gives a fabulous insight in the history of the famous American jeweler. Have fun watching the show!

Two weeks ago, I went to Geneva to film a new episode of Spotlight which will air this Saturday, at 7.45pm on Tele Züri. The reason? Tiffany & Co. celebrated the opening of its newest store at 21, Rue du Rhône.
Frederic Cumenal, CEO of Tiffany & Co. and Gitta Gräfin Lambsdorff, Managing Director Tiffany & Co., Germany/Austria/Switzerland, hosted the evening. The approximately 500 guests
were welcomed to a cocktail reception at the store where they were able to explore the magnificent new interiors across the store’s two floors and discover dazzling jewellery and the limited edition watches that the American jeweller has specially created to commemorate its return to Geneva.
The four limited edition cocktail watches, exclusively created for the Geneva opening.
Tiffany’s brilliant new store reflects the company’s global reputation as a luxury brand and a 178-year history that includes Geneva, where Tiffany first opened a branch in 1868.
Melvin Kirtley, Chief Gemologist Tiffany & Co., with me in front of the famous Tiffany Diamond.
TIFFANY DIAMOND
This legendary beauty was acquired by Charles Lewis Tiffany in 1878. To this day, the spectacular 128.54-carat fancy yellow diamond remains one of the most important gemstones on earth. It was a great honor to see this precious piece in real life in Geneva as it rarely travels, remaining at home on the main floor of the Tiffany flagship store on Fifth Avenue in New York City.
Star guest Paloma Picasso gave me a great interview that will air in the next Spotlightepisode. To explore her newest collection for Tiffany, please click here.
Following the cocktail reception in the new store, we were then ushered to a glamourous marquee with a stunning Tiffany Blue Box entrance. With magnificent views to the Lake Geneva and the Jet d’Eau, we enjoyed a fantastic party with live performances by renowned saxophonist Chez Taylor-Francis, DJMike and DJ Viky Queen.
A fun evening that ended with the beautiful Jet d’Eau lit up in Tiffany blue!
If you are living in Switzerland, don’t forget to watch Spotlight this Saturday at 7.45pm! The trailer will tell you a little more about the episode…
Transparent trends took the runway for a whirlwind this summer season. While this might not be one of those looks you can easily adapt for, I took the challenge and sported this see-through dress in St. Tropez for a great night out.
My look: Lace and silk-blend chiffon midi dress (40% off on sale) by Dolce & Gabbana, laser-cut leather and suede platform sandals by Alaïa, high waisted shorts and patchwork clutch, both by Prada, Lady Excalibur watch by Roger Dubuis, Tiffany T bracelet in rose gold by Tiffany & Co., necklace and earrings, both from the Paris-Dubai collection by Chanel, diamond ring by Vainard Fine Jewellery.
Zurich weather can be so unpredictable. I left the house to attend a spring brunch in full sunshine and when we took the photos of my look in the afternoon, the clouds were grey and it started raining. Such a pity!
My look: Cropped cardiganby Azzedine Alaïa, pink neoprene dressby Tibi, yellow, magenta, powder pink leather Rockstud tote and matching pink Rockstud heels, both by Valentino, Olivia patent-leather belt by Moschino, Lady Excalibur watch in rose gold with diamonds by Roger Dubuis, Tiffany T bracelet by Tiffany & Co., bangles by Chanel and rose gold bracelet with heart charm by Chopard. Diorette ring by Dior Haute Joaillerie.
A simple truth is that I like summer much better than winter and that I still remember those warm days I had in December when I I flew to Mauritius and stayed at the new beautiful LUX* Belle Mareresort. Even that it was raining most of the time, I could still wear something light.
Before Christmas I flew to Mauritius and stayed at the new beautiful LUX* Belle Mareresort. The only negative connotation was that it rained a lot. But this could not dampen my mood.
My look: Floral-print jacquard topand high-waisted shorts, both by Dolce & Gabbana, platform pumps by Alaïa, envelope bag by Céline, Amulette necklace by Cartier, candy necklace by Chanel, Tiffany T bracelet in rose gold by Tiffany & Co. and Lady Excalibur watch by Roger Dubuis.
Tartans are everywhere this winter, and this Christmas I had fun playing around with the traditional pattern. The classic skirt got a style makeover with sparkling sequins and in combination with this tartan sweater, it feels fresh and fun.
Last Thursday, Tiffany & Co. celebrated the launch of the brand’s newest collection TIFFANY T in Zurich at the Museum Bellerive. It marks design director Francesca Amfitheatrof’s first line for the iconic house. “The letter T is sculptural and bold and very closely linked to the architecture of New York City,” she explains. The trained jeweler and silversmith reimagined the letter T as a piece of engineering, which you can see in the mechanisms for these cuffs.
The Museum Bellerive was bathed in pink light. Guests enjoyed yummy food and champagne while exploring the new jewelry pieces.
Here I am wearing two Tiffany T bracelets, one in 18k white gold and one in 18k rose gold, both with round brilliant diamonds.

The collection is in stores now and available in different shapes in silver or gold. Personally speaking, I truly love the design, especially many bracelets worn together look really cool.
