Many of my readers have been asking me about a business look with a certain twist. As one of the big summer trends is incorporating lingerie in your daily wardrobe, I exchanged the stereotype white shirt into a feminine lace top which looks sophisticated and elegant under a blazer. A great selection of such camisoles can be found at ZIMMERLI. The one I am wearing in this post has some small pieces of art hidden within the airy embellished ribs. The light and breathable fabric is soft as silk and pliant as cashmere.

This was my outfit I wore to the opening of Switzerland’s first Karl Lagerfeld store last week in Zurich. Sass and class I called it.

Who knew what a new hue can do?! I love this shade of blue so much and was so happy to see that Stella McCartney used this colour again for her S/S 2013 collection along with orange and green. Stay tuned for the upcoming post.

Actress Amanda Seyfried was spotted recently on the red carpet in this gorgeous blue tuxedo jacket and matching shorts from H&M’s Exclusive Conscious collection. She combined the look with a leather-trimmed wool top by Rag & Bone and black pumps by Gucci.

To celebrate the rise of glamour, H&M has created the Exclusive Conscious collection of greener and eco-friendlier red-carpet looks that have all been made from more sustainable materials like organic cotton and hemp, and recycled polyester, as part of H&M’s Conscious initiative. In stores now.

I am in love with this outfit. The cropped metallic leather motocross pants by Balmain look so cool with a white tank top and the ivory wool tuxedo jacket. Opposite to the French house’s runway look, I would add an eyecatching pair of shoes in blue and match my nails. Spotted today at the Stella McCartney show: Mattia who wore the Stella pieces so lovely. The dramatically slit black silk-satin pants gave her look fluidity. She took them out with a sleek silk blouse and a tuxedo jacket.

The patent pumps and the long scarf were the perfect additions for a sophisticated day look, the red lipstik and nails finished off the ladylike outfit. Well done, Mattia!

I also own those pants and adore them, they are one of my favorites this season!

Zara has this months some amazing pieces giving you the opportunity to include some of the new season’s must-haves as well as some solid classics into your wardrobe. Decide for yourself if you want to go steal or splurge. Those styles are both ways great.

I always recommend to understand and recognize quality materials and craftmanship, not only a designer label. With this in mind, you will invest with confidence and mix with less expensive pieces to create your own individual, so hard-to-copy look. But be careful! Your shoes and bag should always be of good quality.

One of the It-pieces for Resort 2011 is Stella McCartney’s ivory wool-twill tuxedo jacket with black and white lapels above.

Animal prints like cheetah (Azzedine Alaia) or leopard (Chloé) are very trendy at the moment. Spotted on an A-line swinging skirt combined with a leather top (Derek Lam) shows the real fashionista. Suede pumps (Jimmy Choo) are always a good investment.
