For a true fashion lover, Azzedine Alaïa is a must in a closet. An Alaïa dress is a seasonless wardrobe wonder piece that never lets you down. I bought my first item by the Tunisian-born designer probably 20 years ago and it still looks up to date. His designs play with discreet luxury, they are comfortable and ultra feminine. For the Bally x L’Officiel event I wore this look and played with the color combination of dark blue and black which I adore, it is so chic.
My look: Blue heart motif stretch-knit dress, black cropped fine-knit cardigan and corset belt, all by Azzedine Alaïa, Dirty ’50s stretch-denim jacket by Saint Laurent, dark blue suede strappy sandals by Miu Miu, Kelly So Black bag by Hermès, Limelight Gala watch and rose diamond necklace by Piaget, diamond ring and bracelet by Vainard Fine Jewellery.
Monsieur Alaïa, you have my whole heart…

Sometimes it just needs one statement piece to draw all the attention to your outfit. But wait, a statement piece….? What is the statement? Here, it is the sequined Playboy bunny on the back of the hoodie that I wore last weekend on my flight to London for Fashion Week. Looking all innocent and casual at first sight, it unveils this fun message when you turn around. The only question left is what is the statement that the wearer is trying to make…? This you have to figure out yourself… mine will stay a statement secret.
My look: Cropped hoodie with zipper and sequined Playboy bunny by Marc Jacobs, snake-print cotton tank by Stella McCartney, skinny mid-rise distressed jeans by Dolce & Gabbana, Bamboo leather tote by Gucci, white and black leopard calf hair bootie by Rodarte, diamond ring and bracelet, both by Vainard Fine Jewellery.

Sometimes it is time for a fresh perspective on the contents of our closets. The summer 2014 had lots of trends to choose from, like crop tops, cutouts, and transparent pieces among other highlights. If you’re anything like me, you may already be more than happy to kiss some of those looks goodbye, but there are plenty, too, that you might be excited to wear during the upcoming season.
My look: Denim vest and wide belt, both by Saint Laurent, leather and wool top by Gucci, Altea crepe and silk-organza skirt by Stella McCartney, embellished textured-leather sandals by Valentino, fringed tote by Lanvin, gold-plated multi-strand necklace by Etro, ladder gold-tone chain bracelet by Proenza Schouler, sunglasses by Céline, Lady Excalibur watch by Roger Dubuis and diamond ring by Vainard Fine Jewellery.

Finally, we had a sunny weekend in Switzerland and I got to wear some of my S/S 2014 pieces that had been left untouched in my closet due to the dreadful weather of the last weeks. Here you see me strolling through the city of Zurich on Saturday.
My look: Printed cotton-poplin bustier dress, floral print long cardigan and lace sandals, all by Givenchy, small ‘Sac de Jour’ tote by Saint Laurent, sunglasses by Céline, diamond ring and diamond bracelet, both by Vainard Fine Jewellery, Limelight Gala watch by Piaget.

On Wednesday, I had a busy afternoon. First I went to Marionnaud‘s press conference to explore the house’s newest beauty brand BE CREATIVE MAKEUP, followed by a fashion show with Montblanc for the 6th edition of MODE SUISSE inside Zurich’s Lichthof.
This week has been perfect, many amazing things have happened and I am extremely happy. That might have been the reason for the pink splash of color I added to this elegant outfit giving it a joyful and fresh upgrade. And as you see, I had quite some fun taking those pictures.
My Look: Elaphe-paneled wool sweater and snake-print silk-satin and chiffon skirt, both by Jason Wu, metallic snake-effect leather pumps and pink pussybow silk necktie, both by Saint Laurent, fringed tote by Lanvin and diamond ring by Vainard Fine Jewellery.
Lips: Kiss Kiss Shaping Cream Lip Colour in 361 Excessive Rose by Guerlain.
Nails: Le Vernis Nail Colour in 619 Pink Tonic by Chanel.
