Normcore… perfect boring, special normal – whatever you want to name it, there’s no getting away from fashion’s fascination with the mundane lately. Trend leader CHANEL kicked off the style last winter with its supermarket inspired collection and created the perfect pedestrian look –throw on leggings, trainers and a big easy coat. It’s all in the luxe twist. Minimal effort required.
My look: College coat by Saint Laurent, flared crepe skirt by Balenciaga, crystal embellished biker boots by Miu Miu, pink cut-out sweater, shearling bag, candy necklace and chain and padlock necklace, all by Chanel. Diamond ring by Vainard Fine Jewellery.
Let’s just hope that we will get some sunshine soon to finally wear our new summer pieces. It’s time to store coats and boots!

This week, I flew to the Côte d’Azur for a week filled with great adventures. My first stop was one of my favorite hotels in the world: the famous Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc, located at Cap d’Antibes in the South of France. This place is just magical and for me filled with great memories. I was there with Dior for a great project that will be revealed in September.

Happy May 1st, my dear readers! Time flies and I cannot wait for summer to arrive and to wear my new season’s pieces. Unfortunately, its has still been a little chilly lately. This Altuzarra jacket, which I love, is very loyal to weather changes as you can carry it like a backpack! Smart dressing at its best!

Last week’s outfit to have dinner with my girlfriends at Razzia restaurant in Zurich was the perfect example of how easy it is to change a look just with heels, a clutch and a great blazer. Today’s outfit post is dedicated to the amazing IWC Schaffhausen gala that took place last September during the Zurich Film Festival. I wore a very colorful gown by Peter Pilotto that I adore. The “mix and match” effect of the fabrics is extremely up to date. Hollywood actress Cate Blanchett, who was the star of the night, sported the floral print trend as well. I have included some impressions of this extraordinary event for you. A huge thank you to Andrea Monica Hug who took some photos of me upon my arrival.

Last week started off terribly. My mail system and my iPhone both broke at the same time. Great news for an editor-in-chief and a blogger, especially when it happens while travelling and you cannot access anything or do something about it. So I thought “whatever” and tried to make the best out of it… time to sport the sequined gun bag!
