Balmain‘s Pre-Fall 2019 or David Koma‘s F/W 2019 collection are both boasting the animalistic trend with beaded ornates that curve from the hip up towards a single padded shoulder. Dragons or serpents, both are stunning examples of an opulent yet unfussy approach to design. Wear them with smoky eyes and your hair pinned into a bun to highlight the shoulder cutout or opt for the skirt with a turtleneck during the day.

Greetings from Saint Tropez at the French Riviera. I love this contradictory place with its jet setter elegance and quaint old town French style. My look: Verity floral-print linen maxi dress and floral-print cotton headband, both by Zimmermann, Saffiano double handle mini satchel by Prada, round sunglasses with triple chain by Chanel, The Rockstud 105 leather sandals by Valentino and rose diamond necklace by Piaget.

Yesterday, I introduced you to Dundas‘ high-octane glamour. Here you see me wearing one of his S/S 2019 runway dresses that opened the runway show in Paris in Saint-Tropez for a fun night out at L’Opéra. It’s cut from naturally stretchy tulle embellished with awesome sequins in a camouflage pattern to channel the designer’s «urban jungle chic» vision. It’s spliced with an embellished leopard-effect lace sleeve and has flattering ruching along one side.
My look: Ruched sequined tulle and lace mini dress by Dundas, camouflage fold over clutch by Valentino, metallic and matte leather pumps by Saint Laurent, bead and acetate clip earrings by Oscar de la Renta and Satin Touch 20 denier stay-up stockings by Wolford.

Last night, I attended the gala dinner of the Creative Women Conference, held at the newly opened Parklane Luxury Collection Resort & Spa in Limassol. My last days were filled with amazing conversations and encounters for which I am truly thankful. Before I will tell you more about this international conference for entrepreneurial women, I wanted to share my first outfit post from Cyprus. Lilac head-to-toe is a big trends for F/W 2019.
My look: Garcelle ruffled cotton-blend lace gown by Erdem, Amore bow belt
by Dolce & Gabbana, vintage lilac sandals and matching bag with butterfly clasp, both by Valentino, crystal embellished butterfly earrings by Miu Miu, and cuff by Chanel.

It is official! I am a Swiss Girl. I couldn’t be happier to finally have received my Swiss passport and to be a double citizen of Germany, my birth place, and Switzerland, my home base.
Today marks Sechseläuten which I will be celebrating among dear friends for the first time as a citizen of Zurich. Following the parade of the “Zünfte” (guilds), the culmination of this popular tradition is the burning of winter in effigy, in the form of the “Böögg” (cognate to bogey), a figure of a snowman prepared with explosives.
My look: Oversized tuxedo blazer and green cloche hat, both by Stella McCartney, Windward logo-intarsia merino sweater and printed cotton and linen-blend mini skirt, both by Burberry, T printed textured-leather pouch by Loewe, red leather Rockstud boots by Valentino, Limelight Gala watch and rose diamond ring, both by Piaget.
Twenties fishnet tights by Wolford.

Attitude is a little thing that makes a big difference. It’s about making the mental shift that will allow you to power through whatever life throws at you. Start each day with an unstoppable attitude to succeed and try to stay motivated throughout the day, regardless of circumstances. Put on a look that you feel confident in and defy the odds against you. I love my new Dior pieces that make me feel extremely good and the coat adds the right amount of color to cheer up the day.
My look: Green oversized cashmere trench coat by Loewe, cream white cashmere sweater with bee embroidery, printed voile cotton skirt , Saddle calfskin belt, Oblique Saddle bag, shoulder strap, and J’adior earrings, all by Dior, Rockstud cut out leather combat boots by Valentino. Diamond heart necklace in yellow gold and Amulette necklace, both by Cartier, Jardin de Milly La Forêt daisy necklace and Mitzah ring, both by Dior Fine Jewellery.

’90s-inspired hair accessories have been everywhere recently, and those pieces below will add just the right amount of retro style to any outfit. From scrunchies to hair clips, and hair bows, all look equally as good with a high bun as they do with a messy low ponytail. Here is your chance to satisfy your inner tween without letting her take over completely.

It feels like spring at the moment, happy moments with lots of sunshine that are only shadowed by the passing of my beloved Karl Lagerfeld. These photos were taken yesterday before I heard the news which is quite bizarre as he must have died while we took them. Wearing vintage pieces and his last Cruise 2019 collection with the name «La Pausa», that derives from Gabrielle Chanel‘s villa at the Côte d’Azur in Roquebrune-Cap-Martin, I say once more farewell to one of the greatest designers in the world. Being German, I am proud to emphasize that a dear landsman went to Paris to leave such a mark on the world of fashion.
My look: «La Pausa» cashmere sweater, high waisted denim skirt (S/S 2016), cotton tweed white and black beret, metal and strass life buoy brooch, vintage striped logo 2way bag, all by CHANEL, and red leather Rockstud boots by Valentino.
