The «ugly-chic» footwear aka pool slide trend is major this S/S 2018 season. I have to admit that I haven’t arrived there yet… I mean I am talking about the plastic slip-ons first made popular by Adidas (in German we called them «Adiletten» and they were a no-go) that are now popular like hell. This season almost every designer has given them an upgrade from embellishments to crystals, from mink to feathers, just get your wallet ready!

Yesterday, I flew back from London Heathrow filled with amazing memories from Fashion Week that I will soon share with you. When I am flying, I like to be comfy but still look stylish. Leather leggings and a striped sweater are one of my favorite combinations and the trending baker boy cap adds a little French touch!
My look: Double-breasted wool-blend felt coat by Saint Laurent, cashmere striped sweater by Chloé, skinny leather pants by Gucci, large classic flap bag in caviar leather and long bi-colour scarf, both by Chanel, metal chain necklace by Prada, baker boy cap by Dolce & Gabbana, and corset-style booties by Valentino. Trolley by Victorinox.

Greetings from beautiful and very cold Vienna where I spent the last days and attended the famous opera ball. More coming up soon… here you see me strolling through the city in some of my favorite pieces since many seasons on my way to the Sacher hotel for some culinary Austrian treats such as Viennese Schnitzel and the famous Sacher cake.
My look: Belted shearling coat, floral-appliqué striped wool-blend cardigan, and scarf, all by Gucci, dress with leather and lace appliqué by Saint Laurent, Rockstud leather-trimmed knee boots by Valentino, «Paris Cosmopolite» Pré-fall 2017 Métiers d’Art Gabrielle bag by Chanel, T Wire Narrow 18-karat rose gold bracelet by Tiffany & Co, and Tonda 1950 Galaxy by Parmigiani Fleurier.

Valentino‘s amazing fur sandals from the F/W 2017 collection have long been on my wish list. They are the fall version of the stylish shoe. Made in soft leather and mink fur, these sandals feature an ankle strap with a side buckle fastening. Great news is that they are now on sale. So hurry up and get your favorite color and showcase yours with high hemlines for the ultimate effect.

I love denim as it is one of the most versatile fashion pieces available. A pair of jeans is just so damn easy to style and the most worn-in one is probably super comfortable, too. That’s why every season, designers add new styles to their collections.
My look: Two-tone appliquéd denim coat by Roberto Cavalli, printed low-rise skinny jeans
and zip-detailed ribbed cotton-blend sweater, both by Givenchy, red leather Rockstud boots by Valentino, Medium Pierce printed leather shoulder bag by J.W. Anderson, oversized square-frame acetate sunglasses and gold-tone Swarovski crystal brooch, both by Gucci, heart shaped earrings and cocktail ring, both by Chanel.

From Pucci-wrapped fashionistas to bronzed Tropeziennes, all love the French Riviera for renewal, and amusement at once. An amazing tide of sophisticated influences has defined beach culture in St. Tropez for many years. Transcending time and place, an afternoon spent at Bagatelle Beach Ramatuelle is an afternoon well spent in the South of France. I cannot wait to finally be back for great food, great party and the perfect beach. My favorite swimwear? I love to wear Emilio Pucci‘s polychromatic styles influenced by the Sixties and Seventies. So chic!
My look: Parasol-printed top, matching pareo-style skirt and bikini, all by Emilio Pucci, Rockstud jelly flip flops by Valentino, Tonda 1950 Set Clarity watch by Parmigiani Fleurier, necklace by Roberto Cavalli, sunglasses by Tom Ford, and bum bag from Louis Vuitton‘s S/S 2009 collection.

Even pacifists can get behind that military vibe. This fall, leather boots come with a combat-style lace-up front for a tough-girl aesthetic. A great combination with a floral dress.
