Time to celebrate for Victoria Beckham fans who can rejoice because the British pop star-turned-fashion designer is bringing her eponymous brand’s luxury style to affordable-favourite Mango. Just in time for the Spanish retailer’s 40th anniversary, the Mango x Victoria Beckham capsule collection drops on April 23.
The collection is a perfect blend of classic British luxury, Victoria Beckham’s immaculate style, and Mango’s contemporary design and features tailoring with a twist, feminine dresses, and versatile knitwear. The campaign images released alongside the announcement showed models in a white dress with a plunging neckline above and a white pantsuit.
Mango’s collaboration with Victoria Beckham is part of the new Strategic Plan 2024-26, which aims to generate total turnover of more than 4 billion euros by 2026 through a differentiated value proposition, strong expansion drive, and improving sales in existing stores and online channels, as presented by the company last March.
In Zurich, the company recently reopened its store in Bahnhofstrasse under the Mediterranean-inspired New Med concept, which aims to reflect the spirit and freshness of the brand. Mango closed 2023 with 93 points of sale in Switzerland, as well as an online presence via its own online channel and other marketplace.

If you’re sorting through which trends are worth investing for winter, then don’t overlook this Instagram-worthy style: cutout sweaters. Preferably oversized, these minimal yet revealing details are a welcome departure from the tight and slinky cutouts of past, making them both stylishly unexpected and actually wearable.
Celebrities such as Kourtney Kardashian have been sporting the trend lately, which means cutout knits have staying power in your wardrobe well into the season, even when the weather takes a turn for the cold temperatures. Here are my favorites:
Cutout embellished cashmere and cotton-blend sweater by Area
Oversized cutout ribbed wool sweater by Valentino
Cutout wool and cashmere-blend and satin sweater by JW Anderson
Cutout cashmere-blend turtleneck sweater by Victoria Beckham
Crystal-fringed cutout wool sweater by Christopher Kane
I went for Valentino and Area and cannot wait to show you how I wear them … stay tuned!

Since Maria Grazia Chiuri has been at the helmet of DIOR, she has made feminism part of her designs. Last Tuesday she presented her F/W 2019 collection for the French Maison in Paris and the opening look of the show comprised a T-shirt with the title of Robin Morgan‘s classic work «Sisterhood Is Global». The American second-wave feminist activist and author was also present at the runway presentation.
Upcoming Friday, March 8th, we celebrate International Women’s Day, a good reason for Net-à-Porter to team up with some of their favorite ladies in fashion to create an exclusive capsule that you can explore below. Get ahead of the fashion game and be a woman in power.
Happy Weekend from Paris!

Ultra violet may be the Pantone Color of the Year 2018, but this S/S 2018 season is all about lilac. The fresh pastel shade was all over the runways shows, starting at Victoria Beckham to Tibi to Roland Mouret. Needless to say that other purple shades were also featured, but the light version is the hue that won everyone over.
It looks so beautiful on dresses and I like wearing it head-to-toe.

«Fashion stole my smile» is actually hard to believe when you think that Victoria Beckham received yesterday the Order of the British Empire ceremony as the designer’s and former pop star’s contributions to the national fashion industry were honored at Buckingham Palace. Wouldn’t we all be grinning if we received such a recognition from Prince William?! Dressed in one of her iconic ladylike knit dresses, she was accompanied to the palace by her parents and husband, David Beckham, who was granted the same title 13 years ago.
The dress was really beautiful and cozy. Its bouncing hem gave her a young school girl-like look that she paired with her signature sky-rocketing stilettos for a posh overall look.
Still the question, which she hates the most, is there: Why doesn’t she ever smile?
«I’m smiling on the inside—I feel I have a responsibility to the fashion community.» – Victoria Beckham
Recently she was spotted at LAX airport in a T-shirt from her Victoria, Victoria Beckham Pre-fall 2017 line, that has almost sold out in a second. It should put the issue to rest once and for all.
The slogan tee «Fashion Stole My Smile» is available now for £95.00 online in black and white and in her London store at 36 Dover Street.

«All great things begin with a vision… a dream.» – Estée Lauder
On Tuesday, I flew to New York City as the first digital influencer for Estée Lauder Switzerland. During the next days, I will experience and share with you some really amazing moments. I will be meeting with Aerin Lauder and Carolyn Murphy, who has been the face for the American beauty brand since 15 years. I will visit the brand’s archives and be celebrating six decades of limitless luxury as the famous «Re-Nutriv» cream turns 60. In 1956, Estée Lauder introduced the «cream of creams» that marked the first milestone in creating a beauty empire. She was a true visionary and sold the product for $115 at a time when the average price of a moisturizer was $10.
A warm welcome by Aerin and Carolyn with a handwritten note and some of my favourites.
Today, the American beauty brand is as trendsetting as 60 years ago, catering to different needs of women of all age groups. Their newest coup? The absolutely mind-blowing collaboration with Victoria Beckham.
«I love to make women feel like the best versions of themselves.» – Victoria Beckham
That was Victoria’s vision for her collaboration with Estée Lauder. Incorporating her taste for wearability, quality and femininity, this makeup collection includes flattering hues, sleek packaging and blendable formulas.
Don’t miss my hero buys that I brought with me to NYC (from left to right):
Eye Metals – Bitter Clove, Lipstick – Brazilian Nude, Lip Pencil – Victoria and Lip Gloss – Moroccan Heat.
The collection is inspired by four different metropoles that you can buy as a set, just click on the highlighted text to be transferred directly:

“I want to become so famous that Damien Hirst’s mother knows me.”
– Jani Leinonen
The Baur au Lac garden is one of my favorite places in the city of Zurich. And at the moment there is an exhibition in the parc that you definitely should not be missing. Two weeks ago, Gigi Kracht, wife of hotel owner Andrea, opened her 14th Art in the Park (photos of the opening will be coming up shortly) that will be going until the 7th of August, 2016. This year, she is presenting the work of one of my favorite artists, Finnish shooting star, Jani Leinonen. The 38-year old plays with logos and symbols of the luxury goods industry in such an ironic way that it makes you think and laugh at once.
Let’s take for example the work “The most terrible things, war genocide and slavery, have resulted not from obedience, but from disobedience”. This outdoor installation reimagines boldly appropriated corporate logos of the globe’s most powerful brands to put emphasize on social injustice and corporate hegemony. I love Jani’s way of expressing himself. He is criticizing society with his colorful and fun art that makes you happy looking at it at the same time.
Jani presented me his book with a personal dedication (Would be a nice tattoo, wouldn’t it?).
Check out these previous posts that I wrote over the last years concerning Jani’s art: Fashion Meets Art (2010), Jani Leinonen and a Fashionable Tombstone (2011), Shoe Liberation Army Takes Over (2012).
My look: Striped blazer by Givenchy, silk-georgette trapeze blouse by Chloé, superskinny mid-rise jeans by Victoria, Victoria Beckham, jacket quilted leather shoulder bag by Moschino, embellished leather mid-heel loafers by Gucci, beaded gold-tone rosary necklace by Dolce & Gabbana and Linda sunglasses by Tom Ford.
Stay tuned for more…
