Personally speaking, I am truly fed up with this rainy weather and I am sure that you feel the same way. I enjoyed the sunshine in Cannes so much that it even feels harder to live through those extremely humid days. Thank God, I will be leaving soon to a warm sunny place.
As temperatures are freezing, I recommend upgrading your look with the help of some gorgeous hosiery. WOLFORD‘s S/S 2013 legwear collection features a wide range of striking patterns, summery ajour and luxurious embellished reinterpretations.
Have a look at my favourites below and start some serious networking… I will show you very soon how I wear those tights and stay-ups.

I love what I do and that makes me happy. If you find the thing you really enjoy doing, work will not be work anymore, it will become pleasure. Sandra’s Closet is my passion, my addiction and my daily dose of fulfillment. I hope that you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoy posting it.
Here you see me on my way to one of my favourite sushi places in Zurich: GINGER. I included some photos of my beloved dishes below.
My look: Trompe l’oeil dress with oversized sweater top and leather skirt by Closed, blue long sleeve top by H&M, H Hobo Grande soft off-white nubuck leather bag by Hogan, silk scarf and cross necklace, both by Gabriele Frantzen, bangles by Sal y Limon, Kate ankle boots by De Siena, Tank Americaine watch by Cartier and Mat Opaque 80 tights in black by Wolford.

At the moment I am obsessed with braids and biker jackets. The two of them in combination add just the right amount of sweetness and rock allure to every outfit.
Today’s look: Black leather biker jacket (also available in red) and suede ankle boots, both by Saint Laurent, flared barnacle-intarsia dress by Alexander McQueen, cashmere and silk-blend cardigan by Miu Miu, earrings by Dolce & Gabbana, ring by Etro, Birkin bag by Hermès and black velvet deluxe tights by Wolford.

This was my look that I wore to the Omega press conference with Nicole Kidman in Vienna for the launch of their new Ladymatic models:
Stretch-jersey crepe top by Alexander McQueen, pleated brocade mini skirt and tiger-embroidered leather shoulder bag, both by Kenzo, suede ankle boots by Saint Laurent and black velvet deluxe tights by Wolford.
I am very much in love with this Kenzo bag as I still adore the tiger embroidery but had seen too many of the iconic sweaters on the streets recently…

Here is the outfit that I wore to the Rodial Beautiful Awards 2013 in London. The photos were taken in the beautiful lobby and bar of the St. Martins Lane Hotel.
My look: Asymmetric leather dress, bow-embellished patent-leather pumps and Apophis cuff, all by Saint Laurent, earrings and bag, both by Chanel, Lady Excalibur watch by Roger Dubuis and Twenties stay-ups by Wolford.

I have a sweet love for this Olivia embellished leather waist belt by Moschino.
It started in Rome a long time ago … and has obviously never ended. It had just been hidden in my closet for a while …
My look: Black jacket by Gucci, pink neoprene dress by Tibi (also available in white), logo belt by Moschino, neon necklace, faux python leather bag and matching shoes, all three by Stella McCartney. Twenties stay-up thigh-highs by Wolford.

This was my look that I wore to my birthday lunch. I have to admit that I a completely crazy for the new Saint Laurent collection and went a little overboard on shopping my must-haves.
My look: Boxy sculpted dress with broad shoulder details and black leather tote (also available in white), both by Saint Laurent, grey suede ankle boots from a previous collection when it was still Yves Saint Laurent, 4810 hoop earrings by Montblanc and cotton velvet tights by Wolford.

Layering is a great way to cope with the transition from summer to fall. Cardigans are great layering pieces because they add warmth when needed and they work well over dark or neutral summer dresses.
My look: Bi-colour fur vest by Louis Vuitton (available this season in a slightly different colour combination), printed dress and argyle belted cardigan, both by See by Chloé, fur bag by Céline, lace up ankle boots by Chloé, cuff by Stella McCartney, Lady Excalibur watch by Roger Dubuis and Diorette ring by Dior Haute Joiallerie.

My visit to the Biennale des Antiquaires last week was absolutely amazing. I was surrounded by outstanding beauty, extraordinary antiques and exquisite jewelry. Karl Lagerfeld has staged, decorated and created the visuals for the event as well as the backdrop. And being such a talented artist, he came up with a temporary world within the Grand Palais (the home of his Chanel shows) that was as beautiful as the thousands of objects d’art.
My look: Structured tuxedo jacket by Balmain, floral and cherub-print dress by Dolce & Gabbana, flap-over zip bag by Tom Ford, Rockstud suede and leather ankle boots by Valentino, cuff by Céline, Lady Excalibur watch by Roger Dubuis, Diorette earrings and ring by Dior Haute Joaillerie plus Velvet de Luxe 66 tights by Wolford.

The last days I have been travelling like crazy and I have so many exciting things to share with you. Here is a little teaser of what is coming up. On Saturday evening, I went to the launch event of Gucci Première, the Italian house’s new fragrance for women, at the famous Hotel Cipriani in Venice. Present at the exclusive dinner were also the face of the campaign, Blake Lively, with her boyfriend Ryan Reynolds, and of course Frida Giannini, Creative Director of Gucci, Salma Hayek and her husband François-Henri Pinault, CEO of PPR.
As Gucci Première is inspired by timeless Hollywood glamour, I chose this black and gold outfit matching the colour scheme of the fragrance:
Metallic-striped fringed leather dress, “Kelly” black and gold suede sandals, “Hysteria” patent leather clutch and belted suede leather jacket, all by Gucci from different seasons. Earrings by Chanel from the Paris – Bombay collection and Twenties fishnet stay-ups in black by Wolford. On my nails: “Smoke Red” by Tom Ford.
Stay tuned for photos of the dinner, more information on the fragrance and an amazing interview with Blake Lively.
