This look makes me feel like a princess. It is amazing how Mary Katrantzou expertly placed the vivid prints on her Harp Hazzard dress from the S/S 2012 runway. You can wear the floor-sweeping floral-print train with bare legs and elegant sandals, or detach it to transform this patterned piece into a thigh-grazing mini.
Louis Vuitton‘s tiara from the S/S 2012 fashion show complements the outfit perfectly. You can wear it over the hair to give it more volume (as seen on me) or under.
My look: Harp Hazzard printed silk-twill dress with detachable train by Mary Katrantzou (also available without train), Tribute chain-detailed suede sandals by Yves Saint Laurent and tiara by Louis Vuitton.

Last Thursday was a busy night of event hopping. I went to the launch of Arquiste in Zurich, after that to the Cartier cocktail to celebrate the new “Juste Un Clou” collection and later to the opening party of the Christian Louboutin store that was co-hosted by SI Style magazine.
I wore one of my favourite looks for summer:
Printed top and leather skirt from the Prada S/S 2012 runway combined with my orange Birkin bag by Hermès and my beloved Palais python pumps by Yves Saint Laurent.

British luxury automaker Aston Martin has debuted the Dragon 88 range of automobiles (DBS Volante, Virage Coupe and V8 Vantage S) at the Beijing Motor Show.
My favourite is the DBS Volante special edition “Year of the Dragon” that features bespoke details that pay tribute to the dragon, a creature that represents power and fortune in Chinese folklore. They take the form of 24-carat gold wing badges, embroidered headrests and commemorative sill plates. Just 88 examples were produced for each model and will only be available in China.
One of the exclusive colour options selected “to chime with traditional Chinese art and imagery” is burgundy in combination with bright red which I absolutely adore. And below you can see that this colour combo would look also stunning on you, ladies!
Burgundy collarless blouse by Miu Miu, red stretch pencil skirt by Diane von Furstenberg, red Tribtoo suede pumps by Yves Saint Laurent and small flap bag by Chanel (Vintage).

This was my look for a very fun party last Saturday. Sorry for the quality of the photos. We took them when we came home which was probably not the best idea.
Flared barnacle-intarsia dress by Alexander McQueen, cashmere-blend cropped jacket by Stella McCartney, Obsession pumps by Yves Saint Laurent, grey suede clutch by Prada, pony skin cuff by Céline, cocktail ring by Roberto Cavalli and earrings by Christian Dior.
I am completely in love with my new McQueen dress. The cut is amazing and it is so comfy – great for dancing. This is fabulous fashion!

There are some beautiful things on their way from Yves Saint Laurent: The house’s new makeup summer collection which will be launching in Switzerland in May 2012.
I love the earthy hues with the contrast of blue that inspired me to this look:
Olive green logo T-shirt by Yves Saint Laurent, lace-print cropped low-rise skinny jeans by Dolce & Gabbana, ruched suede ankle boots by Brian Atwood, gold-plated lace-effect cuff and Arty gold-plated glass ring by Yves Saint Laurent, bag by Alexander McQueen, blue wool and silk-blend blazer by Stella McCartney.
My favourite products for the eyes: The Pure Chromatics Eyeshadow Palette N°8 Sand (CHF 79.-) can be used dry and wet and looks gorgeous in combination with the Mascara Volume Effet Faux Cils Waterproof N°4 Blue Majorelle (CHF 50.-).
Here you can see how I applied the eyeshadow palette. I used the three earthy hues dry on the lid and blended them well starting with the darker tone up to the lightest one. The olive shade was applied wet like an eyeliner. I finished off the look with lots of black mascara for the upper lashes and used the blue mascara for the lower lashes to open the eye beautifully.
On my nails I am wearing the new La Lacque Couture in N°18 Bleu Majorelle (CHF 37.-).
The nail polish is part of the new La Lacque Couture La Vernithèque collection which will be launching in May 2012 in Switzerland.
Thirty new shades that offer high shine and easy application with a new brush. Choose from a colour palette of reds and oranges, pinks and fuchsias, plums and purples, nudes and browns, and other groundbreaking shades.

My new shoe obsession: The confident colourblock OBSESSION pumps from the inimitable house of Yves Saint Laurent. I am head over heels for those leg-lengthening mega-platforms with removable triple ankle-wrap straps to convert into a sling-back, new in this week.
I couldn’t resist and got them in the all-suede version in brass, teal, light grey, black cherry and purple. Available at ysl.com.
And what do you think of this amazing colour combination below?

Team these sorbet-hued beauties with bare legs and fresh pastel-coloured separates for the most fabulous way to step into the new season.

Today, I have shown you already the upcoming limited edition Guerlain Terra Azzura by Emilio Pucci make-up collection. Here you can see those beautiful sunny shades on me that are complementing one my favourite Emilio Pucci looks for this summer perfectly:
Printed silk-charmeuse handkerchief top, printed silk-charmeuse maxi skirt and printed scarf belt, all from Emilio Pucci’s S/S 2012 collection, platform sandals by Yves Saint Laurent, bangles by Sal Y Limon, earrings and ring by H&M.

Do you remember the fabulous studded Versace leather pieces I wore for annabelle magazine’s photo shoot in February? For the previous post, please click here.
The look is in stores now: Studded leather biker jacket, studded leather pencil skirt and embroidered leather box clutch, all by Versace and studded suede platform sandals by Yves Saint Laurent.
And don’t forget, citrus colours are a must this season, outshine the sun with lemony yellows!

Last night, I went to the Zurich Opera Ball. This is a black tie event taking place once a year at the opera house which marks a highlight on Switzerland’s event calendar.
My look: Cobalt blue silk-crepe gown by Stella McCartney, silk-organza floral collar (such a versatile piece that instantly transforms even the simplest of looks) and Angelica silk-satin appliquéd clutch, both by Gucci, Tribute violet suede sandals by Yves Saint Laurent, statement bracelet by Louis Vuitton, Lady Excalibur watch by Roger Dubuis and Diorette ring by Dior Haute Joaillerie.
I truly like those colours, cobalt blue mixed with different berry shades, together.
What do you think?
