«It’s all about the jacket! The jacket is a parka, a caban and a hoodie, always a blazer, it’s a suit, it could be a vest, a débardeur, a qipao and a redingote, a dress and even a gown.» – Albert Kriemler
AKRIS has come up with a new cool when it comes to dressing. For the last winter collection, creative director Albert Kriemler has quite obviously fallen in love with the jacket. I adore the versatility of his creations. The cropped fur part for example can be removed and the leather vest be worn solo. How cool is that?!
Besides, I am a big fan of the color combination of light grey and olive. Those two hues are a great match, unexpected and interesting together.
My look: Brighton grey kalgan lamb cropped jacket, Valentin grey leather vest and thin grey sweater, all by Akris, Lady Buckle light olive green leather top handle bag
and olive green leather leggings, both by Gucci, Paris laced ankle boots in earth suede
by Saint Laurent, sunglasses by Céline, colorful bracelet by Louis Vuitton and clip on cuff earrings by Dior.

I wore those Chloé pieces to the PKZ party last Thursday in Zurich. You can call them already vintage as they are from 2007. Wine improves with age and some clothes do as well. I remember buying them on a trip with a girlfriend to Paris before I started my blog. I believed I could and I did. Never give up, be kind and always believe in yourself, that’s the recipe! And of course don’t be stuck, always add something new… in this case the bag and the boots.
My look: Curry colored short jacket, ruffled white blouse and jumpsuit, all by Chloé, Rockstud leather-trimmed knee boots by Valentino and Soho mini textured-leather shoulder bag by Gucci and earrings by Miu Miu.

Zurich has a new hot spot. Last week, HATO opened its doors at Brandschenkestrasse 20 (reservations +41 44 280 1880, zurich @hato-restaurants.com). The restaurant’s chef Nathan Dallimore brings the bold flavors of «Fine Asian Cuisine» and fresh sushi to every dining experience. Before today’s official start, I had the honor to try all the culinary highlights during an intimate lunch. The food is absolutely excellent, my favorite is the vegan «Soya Duck Salad» (see photo below). The interior is stylish and intimate at once, curtains can separate certain areas. There is also a special LALIQUE room for private occasions. On Thursday, the VIP opening party took place… enjoy the pics.
My look: Wool twill jacket, cutout leather platform pumps and small California leather bucket bag with stars, all by Saint Laurent, scalloped bandage dress by Hervé Léger, Satin Touch 20 denier stay-up stockings by Wolford, tulle and pearl necklace by Lanvin and diamond ring by Vainard Fine Jewellery.
LoL, Sandra
The vegan «Soya Duck Salad», it’s fake duck, so yummy.
An extremely interesting combination that I loved: scallop, pork and artichoke puree.
Fantastic Har Gau Dim Sum.

Oversized sweaters worn as dresses add a certain coolness to your look. I couldn’t resist Christopher Kane’s “Lovers’ lace” – entwining bodies in coral and cream lace, that are inspired by life drawing lessons. Worn on the F/W 2015 runway, this oversized style is woven from a luxurious blend of wool and cashmere guaranteed to keep me warm when the weather cools here in Zurich.
My look: Hooded camel-wool wrap coat with belt by Chloé, lace-paneled wool and cashmere-blend sweater dress by Christopher Kane, fringed checked cashmere scarf by Burberry Prorsum, leopard-print Boston tote by Céline, Rockstud leather-trimmed knee boots by Valentino and Linda round-frame acetate sunglasses by Tom Ford.

Yesterday, just one night after the world premiere in London, I attended the Swiss preview of the latest James Bond thriller SPECTRE in the presence of actors Naomi Harris and Dave Bautista at Zurich’s Hallenstadion as guest of Omega.
I have to admit that the product placement of Bond’s Omega watch is fabulous and funny. Once you watch it, you will know what I am talking about.
Last night’s event marked the largest Swiss premiere ever with almost 4500 guests attending the cinematic happening. After the screening, I enjoyed the VIP party in the foyer with my best friend.
My look: Striped tiered feather jacket by Givenchy, blue Aleah bandage gown by Hervé Leger, Swarovski crystal necklace by Lanvin, black leather pumps by Saint Laurent, clutch bag by Prada, Horsebit blue topaz diamond white gold ring by Gucci Fine Jewellery and Limelight Gala watch by Piaget.
ABOUT SPECTRE
A cryptic message from the past leads James Bond (Daniel Craig) to Mexico City and Rome, where he meets the beautiful widow (Monica Bellucci) of an infamous criminal. After infiltrating a secret meeting, 007 uncovers the existence of the sinister organization Spectre. Needing the help of the daughter of an old nemesis (Lea Seydoux), he embarks on a mission to find her. As Bond ventures toward the heart of Spectre, he discovers a chilling connection between himself and the enemy (Christoph Waltz) he seeks.
The movie is definitely worth watching and I will do so again this Friday before it will officially hit the Swiss cinemas on November 5, 2015 at the ASW Top Secret Dinner, Pre-Screening and After Party. Hope to see you there!

This was the outfit I wore to the IWC Gala Dinner last Saturday in Zurich. A great strapless dress that stays in place during a long night of dancing and fun.

Monday evening before I left to London, I attended an extremely lovely invitation. Laurence Antiglio hosted an editors’ dinner to celebrate the 10th anniversary of her fabulous store VESTIBULE.
The website says “a favorite address of Zurich’s in-the-know fashionistas for its sharp selection of designer brands.” I would sign this statement. With the likes of Nina Ricci, Sonia Rykiel, Chloé and many more, the French-speaking Swiss carries a wonderful variety of established labels as well as newcomers.
Congrats, Laurence Antiglio!
10 years ago she started in Zurich’s Niederdorf with one store and lots of passion. The first thing she sold? A reindeer that was a decoration from the window display. But that didn’t stop her! Today, she owns two shops, one in the city center at St. Peterstrasse 20 and one in Seefeld.
Laurence has fulfilled her dream and we admire her for that.
Good luck for the many more years to come!
LoL, Sandra
Great idea: Hosting a dinner in the store. I loved eating in the middle of all the clothes and bags.
Laurence Antiglio, Sabina Hanselmann-Diethlem and my humble self in Saint Laurent.
On display: the limited edition tees that will especially launch for the 10th anniversary.
Hurry up, they are going to sell out fast!

Zurich weather can be so unpredictable. I left the house to attend a spring brunch in full sunshine and when we took the photos of my look in the afternoon, the clouds were grey and it started raining. Such a pity!
My look: Cropped cardigan by Azzedine Alaïa, pink neoprene dress by Tibi, yellow, magenta, powder pink leather Rockstud tote and matching pink Rockstud heels, both by Valentino, Olivia patent-leather belt by Moschino, Lady Excalibur watch in rose gold with diamonds by Roger Dubuis, Tiffany T bracelet by Tiffany & Co., bangles by Chanel and rose gold bracelet with heart charm by Chopard. Diorette ring by Dior Haute Joaillerie.

Last Wednesday, Trudie Götz and her team celebrated the opening of her two new concept stores, TROIS POMMES – THE STORE, one for women on Bahnhofstrasse 18 and one for men on Bahnhofstrasse 12 in Zurich. The new three-story shop for ladies is filled with everything a fashionista’s heart desires, the must-have pieces from well-known designers such as Givenchy, Saint Laurent and Peter Pilotto among others. For this special occasion, jewelry designer Harumi Klossowska and cashmere guru Greg Chait of The Elder Statesman had flown in to get to know their Zurich customers. Great concept, amazing interior, two thumbs up!
